Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomAfter a hot and sweaty day exploring Mystras, this is a great place to come to, up the hill from the archaeological site. Welcoming hosts. Wine bar and snacks available as room service. Amazing view over the Vale of Sparta. Ate an excellent breakfast on our terrace. Tiny village offers choice of several restaurants to walk to. Wish we had stayed longer. (Wish we could be there now!)

United StatesAbsolutely nothing. Perfection.
Our room, Olive, was straight out of a decorator magazine. A super chic Greek farmhouse. Just beautiful, with a great bed, a huge sitting area, and a very functional kitchenette. It felt very homey and we really enjoyed relaxing in our suite. Breakfast was delicious and delivered every day in an adorable basket. The restaurant next door was excellent. We had dinner on their beautiful terrace one night, and got take away to enjoy on our private balcony the other night. The hotel is only about 5 minutes from the archaeological site, which allowed us to get there in the morning when we had the entire place almost to ourselves (by the time we were coming down there were tons of tour groups). Simply one of the best properties we've ever stayed

United KingdomNothing, everything was delightful. Maybe recommendations on local tavernas, bakeries etc
We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights in the Mazaraki guesthouse. It is in a lovely location, plenty of outdoor spaces to sit and relax and very quiet at night. Breakfast was served to the room and it was delicious with freshly squeezed orange juice, good plentiful coffee and delicious yoghurt and fruit plus lots of other options which are requested the day before. The room was large, clean , well furnished and characterful ...the bathroom was quirky which we enjoyed. All the staff were helpful and thoughtful. There is a fantastic Greek restaurant just a few steps away.

CanadaFlushing the toilet with the pull chord was interesting and sometimes challenging, but added to the uniqueness of the place.
We loved the room decor in the Azure Room, the colours, the openness and airiness. We loved the picnic basket that was brought to our room at the requested time each morning with all the yummy breakfast items that we chose the day before. We loved sitting on our balcony, listening to the birds’ sing as we ate. We loved the view of the castle. We loved the friendly staff. We loved the two Greek Taverns serving traditional food that were within walking distance. I actually teared up when it was time to go - I wish we could have stayed longer.

United KingdomDimitra and Natassa run the guesthouse with charm , efficiency and incredible attention to detail. It’s the most lovely relaxed hotel, the breakfasts /snacks are delicious. Natassa cooks a terrific spinach pie. The front of hotel is a little boho area with tea lights , soft music and a log fire if it’s chilly, really good wine list, and the view oh my goodness, knockout.! We stayed in the Olive room.. fabulous large calm space, beautifully decorated.. comfy sofas, little kitchen, that we didn’t use except for coffee. Bed most comfortable of our stay in Greece. They do everything right

United StatesTo be very honest, I think the room is a little bit overpriced.
Great location. The room we booked has a designer feel and is really cute. The breakfast was delivered to our room in a basket in the morning. We had a car issue upon departure and the lady owner was extremely kind to lend us tools which helped us solve the issue so we could get back on road. Overall, all is good.

United StatesNothing.
Situated on the mountain within sight of Mystras, this place is magical. The rooms are quiet and beds very comfortable. Each has a small porch and kitchenette which served us to make coffee. There are 2 restaurants very close by walking. The decor is lovely. They bring you made to order breakfast in a basket and tray to the room in time window of your choice. Small pool is lovely to cool off. In the area I’d stay here again.

Australiaroom serivces for breakfast, you can choose from a very rich list. View is nice. Because it is the mountain top, night wind is huge on the night we stayed. Maybe less in usual days. Only 3 mins from the heritage site which is great. Check out is 12pm, which is also great.

The guesthouse is a very nicely decorated, cozy and warm place with great breakfast and super friendly staff. The front porch was amazing and had a beautifully atmosphere and fireplace, so though it was poring raining we sat there and enjoyed a tasty fresh homemade food. GreeceHonestly everything was great. I wish to visit it in spring as well to be able to have my breakfast at the balcony. It was a great stay overall.
The facilities and location are great, with a quaint feeling, the view is amazing, overlooking the Sparta valley. Very close to Mystras archaeological space. The breakfast comes in a picnic basket with your selection of classic and local traditional breakfast options. The best part of the guesthouse is the reception area aka wine bar with the burning fireplace and wide variety of wines.
