I really liked the Mystras Inn, a base for visiting the historical site of Mystras. Room was larger than I expected, a very good size with a balcony and a good shower. I had my evening meal there (very good) and a very good breakfast. A shame I had only one night there, but I was booked to move on in my tour. Excellent value.

The room was nice and came with free parking and breakfast. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The inn also has a restaurant with good food and drinks. This is in a great location to visit the castle

Excellent location Best hosts. Food was exceptional. Both dinner and also the breakfast The hosts were VERY friendly and drove us to the castle because we didn’t have enough time. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The reason I gave it a 7 rating and wasn't terribly pleased with the room. We arrived in the evening, after the rest of the guests, so we got what was left of the available rooms. They were doing repairs on the other buildings' stairs, so not the full gamut of rooms was available. I had booked a double room, but we ended up with a room for 4+. It reminded me of camping cabins with several beds in one room. They were metal beds (comfortable, though) and the room had minimal to no decorations. The exposed rock wall was cool but, a bit drab.

The location is great for visiting the castle. The breakfast was very nice! The Inn's restaurant was very cozy and the food was very good. It was rainy and cold when we were there, so they started a fire in the fireplace, which made it very cozy.

Late receoption, breakfast was very good. Nice place in a nice location. ADDITIONAL POINTS: My daughter forgot his snickers and we came back half a day later to pick them up, no problem.

Slow to nonexistent WiFi. Although breakfast was included, it would have been useful to have an electric hot water kettle with tea and coffee packets in the room. It was cooler outdoors and an ability to have some heat would have made things more comfortable. No room water bottle. Bathroom towels slightly musty smelling.

We stayed in room #15. Nice stone building with room stone wall accents. Inn has very good restaurant. Few other eating options in this very small village. Solid stone walls and concrete underlying floor construction makes the room quiet at night. Provided at the restaurant with the included light breakfast: fresh orange juice, tea, or coffee, corn flakes, yogurt, toast, and jam. 10 minute drive to Sparta Museum of Olive and on to nearby Sparta Archeology Museum. Go early for good street parking. Both small but worth seeing. 5 minute uphill drive to lower mountain monastery sights first and then drive up to the upper area to reduce your walking effort. In the cooler weather we were able to walk up from the upper area to the hill top 1249 A.D. Crusader Castle.
