Stayed in Santorini over a week and tried a few luxury hotels. This is by far, the best! Excellent service, they provided so much information and services before I asked. Attention to details are amazing, the most comfortable sheets, heated pool ( very important if you do not go in summer). Not to mention the amazing view right facing the sunset. My only regret was not to book another night here.

It was the perfect break for me and my wife. Being in the heated pool with the view became addictive. I had watched hours of videos on YouTube and planned to explore the island to make the most of our time, even after knowing what the island had to offer we spent most of our time here relaxing in comfort and in privacy. The island felt like it was ours from where we was. To end our perfect stay, we booked their couple massage, and it was incredible. Neil George Makris made sure we had the best experience. He messaged options at the perfect moments and if there was anything we needed or queried, he had the answer. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were professional and polite. Everything provided was at a very high standard and clean. I can’t recommend this place enough to anyone that wants a relaxing romantic get away. You deserve it!

The property itself is stunning! The views are unlike anything you will experience. The plunge pool is sizeable – my husband and I were pleasantly surprised. The service, fantastic. “Mr Michael” at the reception was wonderful! He recommended restaurants which were best to frequent, booked reservations and organised our transfers. As we embarked on our next stop to Crete, he also went as far as to write us a huge list of recommendations for restaurants and attractions being a Cretan local himself. Truly felt the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience.

Atoles Retreat was overwhelmingly beautiful, the view is breathtaking and was exactly what we wanted for our anniversary trip to Santorini. The welcome by the team was lovely we were made to feel very special, and we appreciated the welcome gift of wine and fruit. The room itself was stunning, very stylish and very clean , the bed was very comfortable, dressing gowns and slippers were a nice addition. The shower and bathroom facilities were amazing, and then the private terrace and plunge pool was just perfect. We toured the island on a quad and it is all beautiful but in my opinion Atoles Retreat is situated in the best location, especially for sunset, we enjoyed the sunset from our terrace on all 3 nights. Everything is on the doorstep, the path that leads to Thira and Oia is just above the accommodation and both are some of the nicest walks with stunning views. Breakfast was something I looked forward to every morning it really set us up for the day, the choice was very nice and always came with fruit and yogurt and a pastry and served on the terrace with the stunning view. The pool was warm and spacious and the sun loungers were very comfortable.The room was also very private for Santorini as some accommodation in the area can overlook the main path through to Thira and Oia. There are restaurants snd shops situated very close by and within walking distance. The team at Atoles helped us with restaurant recommendations, quad hire and taxi services. It was such a relaxing break for us as everything was taken care of 😊

Its hard to come up with any complaints! It was a pretty spectacular stay.

The hotel was a great experience. The pictures are accurate and you walk down a lot of stairs to the room on the cliff. The view is great and everything was pleasant. The host - Maria - was great and very helpful. We had a rented car and it was fairly easy to find a spot nearby for free. Plenty of cafes and bars nearby, and you can walk to Thera. Airport was a short drive. Breakfast was delivered each day which was really nice and there was a choice of several meals. We also did the breathtaking cliff hike From Thera to Oia which was pretty memorable - its right outside the door. Took the overcrowded bus back to Thera which was fun.

The view was exceptional. Design, amenities and food all excellent. The small pool was also very enjoyable. But the highlight of the stay was the care provided the staff. Maria, Lea, and the rest all went above and beyond to address all our needs and wishes. 10/10

The property was immaculate! From the details of the design, the cleanliness, the privacy of each room and the most amazing view from each room. It felt so luxurious and comfortable from the moment you walk in and at times did not even want to leave because of how beautiful it was there! Most of all, the host of the property, Maria was at our assistance at all times and never failed to deliver the most incredible service. She was genuine, kind and so helpful always with a smile and same goes for all the other wonderful people that worked at and alongside Atoles Retreat. I will forever recommend this to anyone visiting Santorini and can’t wait to go back!

Small in size but with attention to every detail that rarely happens in large hotels, Atoles is a charming gem. Beyond the obvious and what can be seen in the photographs of a room with fabulous decoration and exquisite finishes, the breathtaking view of the Santorini caldera is a standout feature. However, what truly sets Atoles apart is the warmth and friendliness of the reception staff, the meticulous care taken in the room (the complimentary wine was of exceptional quality), and the heavenly breakfast served. During our three-day stay in Oia, we witnessed the famous sunset there, but I can assure that experiencing it in this magnificent setting at Atoles is even more remarkable. The surrounding area is incredibly peaceful, providing an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I cannot recommend Atolos enough for those seeking a truly memorable and tranquil stay.

The room is cozy and there was not a ton of extra space to unpack clothing and store luggage. But it honestly did not interfere with our experience one bit.

Atoles Retreat is a lovely place to stay. The staff was so warm and welcoming, and the rooms are exactly as pictured with beautiful decor and quiet private balconies overlooking the gorgeous caldera. Each day starts with freshly prepared breakfast delivered to your balcony, and each day ends with a magical sunset. I would not stay anywhere else on Santorini!

Absolutely nothing. Be prepared to walk lots of steps, though. It’s pretty much a necessity to have a view like that. It doesn’t matter though, because the porter carried our luggage all the way up and down like he was in the Olympics!

We had the infinity pool suite and our stay could not have been better. I NEVER write reviews but I felt I had to here. The view was amazing, the service was impeccable and the breakfast every morning was delicious. I want to shout out the staff and ESPECIALLY Maria who took care of all our needs. She booked meals for us, arranged transportation and solved every minor problem that we had. She was simply next level! There is no doubt when we come back that we will be staying here again. 10/10.
