I’d call it a restaurant with a hotel. Not another way round. The room was small, terrace was between the walls, which was unpleasant to stay on. However, the garden, view and beauty of the place on general makes it all much better (for a one night stay).

Car park entry was not clearly indicated so we had initial difficulty parking close by, then moved the car later. The aircon in the room was insufficient to overcome the terrible heatwave present during our stay; this was unusual circumstances though and would probably be okay during ‘normal’ weather.

Nice location against the hill overlooking Verona, yet close enough for a quick drive to the historic old town. The room was very quiet during the night, in spite of the bar/restaurant on the same premises being busy.

The vibe at the bar and restaurants was lively and fun! Perhaps a little loud for our kids but finished by 11pm.

Only suggestion would be, given the summer heat, a small pool would make a huge difference. Could also add some sort of car service, there are local buses but frequency isn’t there especially late at night and the taxi service in Verona seems to be unreliable a lot

There was a minimum of space, like a shelf or a bigger cupboard to put your belongings on in the bathroom In the room there were only windows without a view, one was very high, the other one had a view on a wall. There were no insect screens. The finish of the paintwork was sloppy. There were no luggage racks. As we were the only guests they could have given us a better room. The breakfast was excellent but also too much food a person can eat. I suggest that they make a list where you can indicate what you want to eat. That will save food and costs.

The host and the staff were really very friendly, they even brought out luggage to the room. The host gave us several useful tips for our visit. The room was nicely decorated, it was clean. The bathroom was big and there were several toilet articles, the shower was great. The breakfast was excellent. It was quiet, there is a beautiful garden, you can have a drink there and also a good dinner is served. The parking place is ver good and safe.
