Everything was absolutely fantastic. The bike guides were so brilliant - my first time at Hotel Dory and I was blown away.

The Wifi was rather poor, not only in the rooms, where in some places was not available, but sometimes also in other parts of the hotel. I think that in 2023, a decent Wifi is even more important than a big flat screen. The Indian themed dinner was a bust; there was basically no real Indian (or even, the fake English-Indian one, we are used to eat); in general, the whole Bollywood party was a bust. The only "Indian" thing there was were people dressed like Indians and that's about it; even the street party was playing italian and other classics songs, but no Indian stuff. Said that, the street party was really fun. Not saying they should do parties singing "Romagna Mia" all night along, but stick to the theme.

The dinner with the local food was the best of the dinners we got during our stay; they simply should do that more often. The bike service is very nice one, I know it's not uncommon in the area, but still. The entertainment for the kids is good, although, we did not make use of it

I liked everything nothing to dislike at all.

The room was beautiful with a sun terrace and sea views from every window. Breakfast was fabulous with a great selection.

Breakfast was ok, however not much healthy choices and for example no fish like salmon etc. The location is nice, the rooms and entrance are stylish, however the bed for the teenagers was a couch that was used as bunk bed and it was only about 1.75cm long (or shorter) which was almost impossible for the (taller) teenagers to sleep on it. this was the family room and I did not know about this. there was no possibility to change room because it was booked out.

The people working are extremely friendly and the location is nice

As it turned out, apartments located in separated building, 100 meters away from main hotel’s building and you have to walk from the reception after check in with your luggage to apartment and it wasn’t described properly when we booked the hotel. There wasn’t any cutting board in apartment, we had to ask it 3 times within 2 days. Strange kettle that warms up water, but doesn’t boil it completely. There wasn’t any iron and ironing board. So if you want to iron your clothes, you have to carry your clothes crossing the Main Street. There wasn’t any night stand and socket at one side of bed. Breakfast didn’t have a good variety of choice. For example, if you want hard boiled eggs, you have to cook it yourself. Lemon for tea was covered in blue mold, but staff changed it immediately after I pointed at it and apologized to me. It’s not a minus but hotel beach area wasn’t ready and we had to use other hotel facilities as it was suggested by hotel staff.

Great cleaning service. Bianca (cleaning lady) did her best. We appreciated it very much, thank you Bianca. Free bikes to ride around the city.

it isn’t possible to control the air conditioning. it is automatically set to 26C, not possible to go lower. we were sweating when getting ready to our wedding party

great staff, excellent service, clean, good location, nice breakfast. breakfast staff was super sweet they even remembered how we liked our tea/coffee

Everything was very nice apart from checkout. The check out I felt was very early- 10am, we asked if we could pay for late check out as our train was not for another 8hrs- but were informed by staff member that room was ‘sold’ and hotel ‘fully booked’ later informed by very nice receptionist that this was not the case

clean, people very helpful and went out of their way to help you. Allessandro and team were really helpful / mechanic great to after a major issue which was fab close to the national pool and sea good running in the area and a good way to get to know the area too easy from Bologna (90 mins) and they can pick you up pretty easily. probably don’t rent a car from Bologna airport… even for a San Marino trip, the ride is worth it.

The junior suite was not as advertised in the photo.

The breakfast was very good and a good selection. My only negative of the hotel was that my room was not like the photo advertised and therefore, I was disappointed.
