Noisy fellow travellers

Our room was spotless. It was in a great location which was easy to get into Milan centre via the subway . There were plenty of local restaurants in that area.

Unfortunately it’s an old building as almost all the structure in Milan, they make the internal new and conformable but the doors are not soundproof, so it could be very noisy as you can hear everything from the corridor and the reception

The walls are a bit thin and you can pretty much hear anything happening in the other rooms. For example if someone snores in the next room, it is like you are there with them. Also the bathroom is pretty small and therefore a bit uncomfortable. Having said that, there is very good water pressure and hot water (which believe you me is not a given in all Italian hotels and cities). All in all, every shortcoming of the room was more than compensated by the firendly staff and cleanliness of the room.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. During our stay we managed to check-in early with their help, which enabled us to start sightseeing with no time-pressure. The room was spacious enough and comfortable. At the last day we needed to leave our luggage somewhere for several hours before our flight. The staff accommodated this request as well. They even agreed to put our fresh Ravioli con Tartufo in the fridge so that they do not go bad before our flight. This is a very good hotel for a city trip to Milano (near enough to the Duomo - 10-15 minutes by subway).

The lobby and hallways were underwhelming which is the only star that I'm knocking off, but both were very clean. Some guy was banging on the door to the room next to us and yelling at 11pm, which was not the hotels fault but still not ideal.

Can't be beat for the price! The rooms were a lot nicer than expected, on par with the rooms for 3x the price we stayed in during the trip. The staff was very friendly. Showers were amazing. The decor in the rooms was really nice and the bathrooms looked new and bright. We were debating between this hotel and a nearby one that was more expensive and this was nicer. Check in and check out were seamless.

The walls are REALLY thin. You can hear every conversation taking place on the entire room. I witnessed several domestic disputes and it felt like the conversations took place in my room. Bring some ear protection if you want to sleep!

The rooms get cleaned every day. The staff is at the reception around the clock and is helpful regarding any questions you have.

The room size is too small. Outside the bed, space is quite limited even for a single person to move around. There is no facility for breakfast though the booking confirmation says basic breakfast is available on payment.

Staff are friendly and helpful. They struggle with spoken English but the issue is workable. The room was perfectly clean. Amenities including a supermarket are available nearby. Underground station is at a walking distance on metro line 1that connects directly to Duomo and Cordusio.

Parking officially around 6€ per day and close to the hotel. But we never saw any tickets in the cars. ;)

We took no breakfast in the hotel. But with the near metro you could reach everything. Close 24h grocery store and some good pizza places. Helpful staff, but you need to speak slow if you don't know Itialian and only English :)

the staff was super friendly and helpful. I was staying for the conference and getting back to my room after a long and tiring day, the clean and comfy room was exactly what I needed. The location was good for me as I had a nice 30-min walk to my conference venue every day. the city centre is also quite close and would definitely recommend staying here.
