Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomVincenco was very helpful and accommodating. Everything we needed was available. The room was quiet and comfortable with air conditioning and a fridge. It was convenient for the Metro and easy walking for places to eat, and for the Archeological museum! We stayed for two nights at the beginning of our 16 day holiday around the Amalfi coast and two nights at the end of our holiday. When we arrived at Naples airport, it was easy to get the Alibus to Garibaldi, and then the Metro to Materdei, then 5-10 minutes walk to Gravina 8. At the end of our holiday, having been traveling on public transport so much, we treated ourselves to a taxi back to the airport from Gravina 8, which didn't take long at all.

HungaryWhile we had a splendid stay there are a couple of things you may want to be aware of: - this is a huge apartment broken to rooms with their own bathrooms. As a result, the kitchen - where you would have your breakfast - is only one wall away. When breakfast starts, you probably will hear every single word regardless of the room you are in. - breakfast is pastry heavy, it is a nice gesture but not a hotel breakfast level. You can have pastry, cookies, some yoghurt, some fruits, orange juice and coffee. - you may need to request blankets, as they are not defaut spread on your bed
We stayed in Apt 103 and it was very good for our short-term stay of 4 days. Giuseppe is a very nice host, happy to answer and happy to help. We were looking for a room with separate beds as we travel are two traveling friends - this room has a single and a double bed. The room was clean and comfy, a slightly less storing place that would have been needed for two women, but it was ok at the end. The balcony had mosquito net and an electric shade, which were absolutely useful - there is air conditioning but we did not use it. The bathroom was clean and enough space to put our things around in it and was equiped with a bidet. We like to walk around and for us the location was perfect: 10 min walk to the Archeological Museum and good metro connection to the train station.

United KingdomCouldn’t improve on it , all perfect
Very comfortable, relaxed and stylish. Although central (we walked everywhere), it’s extremely quiet and we slept very well. Guiseppe is very kind and obviously cares that his guests have a really good experience. He gave us lots of useful information, helped with the luggage and called us a taxi to the airport.

PolandOne thing (a VERY VERY small thing) that could be improved is the water pressure in the shower, although I know that this may be a problem for the entire building and the owners have no influence on it.
I highly recommend this place! The location near to the metro station that we used mostly, also not so very far to the center if you would like to have a nice walk (we did it especially in the evening :-). The area is safe, what is very important in Napoli. Also, near to the apartment there is a delicious pizzeria that you should visit! 2 steps from the apartment you will find also supermarket if you need :-) Big applause for the receptionist - Vincenzo!! (PS I apologize in advance for my level of Italian :D) He showed us the most important points of the city on a map, and also advised us where to eat well and how to get there. He answered all our questions. We had a room close to the dining room and he never woke us up when he was preparing breakfast before 7 a.m. :-) The entire crew was great - the host of the facility made iced coffee for us in the evening, for which we are very grateful. If we ever come back to Napoli, we would choose this place again.

United KingdomAll was perfect!
The property was modern, exceptionally clean and tidy. The mattress was super comfortable and the bedsheets smelled divine! It felt like sleeping in my own home. Vincenzo and Giuseppe, the owners/managers were kind, attentive, available and of course professional. It’s hard to find a place like this nowadays! Thank you guys for the welcoming stay and for contributing to the success of our holiday in Naples. Gravina8 was the cherry on top of the cake. We will and must come back again! To anyone who’s not sure about where to stay in Naples, I can guarantee you, this is a great place in a quirky area. It’s also very close to Materdei underground station with easy access to all the tourist attractions that Naples has to offer. See you soon and thank you once again. Everything was great! The room was what we expected. It has AC, it’s been recently renovated, it’s on a small quiet street and nearby the metro station. It’s without the signs of tear and wear one often discovers when looking for a place to stay online. This is not the place where George Clooney would stay, but he probably should. Peppe (a.k.a. Giuseppe) is a very kind and courteous host. Our plane was delayed but he was waiting for us with a big, fat smile nonetheless. He gave us great tip for a late dinner at a restaurant nearby. Gave us a quick rundown of the local sites and more importantly indispensable advice on how to approach them in regards on local geography and public transport. He also doubles as a private barista for his guests in the morning - a task he takes with great pride. Such an epitome of an Italian that they should put him on the Euro banknotes 💶 in my opinion. Grazie, Peppe! P.s: mr Clooney if you are reading this, you are welcome 😁
