We loved the character of the room, it was absolutely charming!!! There is nothing quite like it - it looks exactly like the photos.

The room was very small, but for this part of the city it is probably average. We were at the attic and there were a lot of narrow corridors and steep steps on our way to it. The air-conditioning couldn't work more than 8 hours and broke once during our stay, but after signalling for it, they repaired it. There were not a lot of options for vegetarians at breakfast. Keep in mind that the toilets on the ground floor are part of a restaurant with the same name of the hotel and cannot be used by the hotel guests. The personnel of the restaurant can be very rude and aggressive about it!

It was clean - our room was hygenised every day and our towels were changed. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The location was very good - 3 minutes from the Piazza San Marco. The breakfast was good but mainly packaged food.

No elevator (since it’s a heritage building). So bit of a task to carry the luggage all the way to the room. The staff does offer help with carrying the luggage upstairs.

The room decoration and furniture were way too dark which made it feel a bit depressing. The lighting could have been brighter too. The shower was a bit too small and the shower head wouldn't stay in a fixed position. The TV was very small. The air conditioner wasn't very effective

Quaint but compact bedroom (but bathroom spacious) with very limited storage - just six coat hangers on a small rail, a safe and ornamental furniture so we had to live out of our suitcases but with insufficient floor space to leave them open. Only a very low and short towel rail and a very small shelf in the bathroom with no hooks so nowhere to hang bath towels, clothes or keep toiletries. Replenishment of towels and beverage supplies was intermittent and required prompts, e.g. on two occasions both/one hand towel taken for daily laundry but not returned + milk, ordinary and speciality tea bags not always replaced. Note - breakfast served 8:00-10:00 am in half hour slots in a compact space with your choice of time determined on check-in for the duration of your stay.

Perfect, central and easily accessible location. Ample breakfast with simple choice to suit most tastes. Friendly and courteous staff.

Accessibility may be limited due to the lack of an elevator and the setting of the hotel on the first and it's rooms on the second floor.

The hotel is ideally located behind St. Mark’s Square, making it easy to reach any of the city’s attractions. It offers cozy rooms faces a bustling narrow street furnished in Venetian style. The recently renovated contemporary bathroom was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and helpful. A welcoming bottle of Champagne was in our room upon arrival. A cute, charming, large cat usually stays on the staircase, ‘safeguarding’ the hotel.

1. I couldnt close the curtains. I tried my best but they shut only one fourth of the way. I am used to being in complete darkness when I sleep so I had to wake up early as the room was bright early in the morning. I tried my best to fix the curtains but they just wouldn’t move. 2. No phone in the room

Very central. Wonderful staff especially the ladies at the counter. Great breakfast. I needed a phone charger and was provided with one. Also on my last day I mistakenly broke a few bowls but they didn’t charge me anything which was so generous of them. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip. Regards to Elnora and Anne.

I got a room by the stairwell which was very noisy and also I don’t think I got the “bigger” room I originally booked. Also the heating wasn’t working properly and I was freezing.
