How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The check-in at night and raining weather was not that easy with luggage. The car cannot reach the place. The street is dark and you have to find keys in hidden boxes. That gave me the feeling of not being safe. Solo travelers are more sensitive to these details.

- Room is possible to open for anyone if you are inside as the grate in the door cover only windows and someone can easily open the doors as the doors looks like a balcony ones. - there is no spoon, fork in the room but there is a microwave - I think little bit overprice

Nothing really
Very fast communication with host and very detailed instructions to access property and use in room appliances. Big room with very nice bathroom. Nice to find a bottle of cold water in the fridge. Host also got me in contact with a local shuttle service from/to the airport. That worked very well too

Hot. We didn’t arrive till after 8 pm and the AC was turned off… the room never really got cooled down after we turned the AC on! Only 1 fan for 2 bedrooms. They at least need a fan for both bedrooms.

The locker of the room's front door should be repaired. We were struggling to unlock the door and thought we wouldn't manage to. There is also some issue with the water installations or the air conditioner. Everything seemed fine in the evening, but when we woke up in the morning, there was a large amount of water on both sides of the bed (which is under the air conditioner, and the sink is on the other side of the wall). When Italians say "breakfast included", count on a small prepacked croissant or crackers with a small package of jam :)
The host sent us a video with instructions on how to enter the property prior to our stay in order to make the check-in process easier. She also helped us by booking a taxi from the property to the airport. The room had everything we needed and it was clean.

Just FYI, it was a bit noisy at night (sounded like a street party until well past midnight), but this might have just been the night I stayed and is no reflection on the accommodation itself, which is wonderful!
Very large and spacious accommodation with everything you could need! Very well equipped kitchen, and close to a supermarket. Lots of dining options available nearby as well. Parking is available on site, and it is so close to the airport!

The neighbors upstairs started to scream at each other ( and daughter ) at 6am, unbelievable rude considering the time. When they left at 7.15 the whole neighborhood was able to go back to sleep!
The property is approx 2.5/3km from the airport. You can book a taxi through the number the host will provide. It will be cheaper that take the taxi outside the airport so I'll recommend it. The host will contact you with instruction for collecting the keys. Easy communication on whatsapp! The room was very clean and provided with the basics you need for a short stay. It was a pleasant night. Water, coffee machine and some snack are available in the room. Good value for money ! recommend it if you need a clean place to sleep close to the airport.

A bit complicated to get there by public transport.

I wasn’t sure if I could go out in the patio. But over all not a big deal.

The fridge was so noisy that I was even woken up in the middle of the night and had to turn off the power
The owner sent the check-in guide two days before we checked in, which was very helpful as we checked in early in the morning, thanks! There is a bus stop a few minutes walk away and the bus goes straight to the airport. The accommodation was properly equipped and the landlord provided water, milk, coffee machine and bread.

Warm water temperature was Luke warm. No hot shower!
Quiet neighborhood. Clean room Water, milk, breakfast kept in room Microwave in room Internet was a plus as Fastweb and windtre both have low signal in the area.
