Amazing meal and beautiful private onsens!

This place was beautiful. The food was exceptional, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They arranged pick up and drop off from the train which was very nice.

The private onsen was so nice - took many baths throughout a single night stay. Also, both dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing - the quality and presentation of the food were stunning. The service was fantastic as well!

Fantastic peaceful location in the hillside with magnificent Onsen & beautiful views of the town morning through evening. Great amenities such as tea coffee selection and comfortable accommodation. Dinner and breakfast were both magnificent in terms of presentation and quality of food. Truly memorable and exceptional. I’d highly recommend this place for a tranquil, traditional style Onsen stay.

Not a huge complaint at all but during our stay, the night shift staff spoke more English than the day shift staff. Not a huge issue because for the most part we understood each other. There were also 2-3 different types of yukata/casual wear they offered to us to wear during our stay but the intro booklet only explained how to wear a yukata. I wish there was more detail about the other outfits they provided about when to wear them or some history.

The staff were attentive and very helpful. They would call the room to inform us of meal times (breakfast/dinner) which would usually be a several course meal overlooking the view from a semi-private booth. They also arranged to pick us up from the nearest station as well as drop-off at the end of our stay.

I’m the beginning when you arrive you are asked to schedule everything for your trip. this is helpful as they are extremely on time but they don’t give you a copy so you have to remember the exact times you put otherwise drivers may be waiting on you. I think it would be helpful if they provided a copy of it to you so you don’t feel rushed

Wonderful ryokan that matched all the expectations for traditional Japanese hospitality. Very efficient and kind staff. Great service but not in an overwhelming way. My mother and I both loved the onsen with the beautiful view of the ocean. (Bonus - it was fun to watch the trains coming and going through the train station from a distance at night, plus the pretty night view of the small city.) The breakfast was very delicious and beautiful. The owner dropped us off at Atami station when we left. Highly recommend this place.

The private outdoor bath was my favorite part and the meals were worth the extra fee. Everything was absolutely amazing and healing. This was my first ryokan experience and I don’t think it could have been better.

Overall facilities are good, but noise when air conditioner is running.

Even relatively remote location, free pickup & drop off services are provided by Ryokan and you can enjoy nice view of Atami

The taxi service is a bit limited, however taking a personal taxi isn’t expensive. If you end up needing it, they will estimate fair at about ¥1,300.

It was serene, the view was wonderful, yet private. The food and course was delicious. The staff is very nice and genuine.

The food, the experience of everything, the silence and the beautiful room. Everything was perfect. I’d happily recommend this place to others who want to experience a great Ryokan experience. The onsen on the balcony was very nice too.

No comment, this was a great place to stay and relax in the Onsen.

The room was extremely quaint with terrific views of the surrounding hillsides and Atami down below. The area was spacious and truly indicative of a true Ryokan.
