Positive section of review
The hotel provided a place for customers to wait for the check in. We felt very thoughtful for the customers. The location was good. Only walking distance to the Toji temple. A few buses in front of the hotel to catch to the different famous attractions. The staff were very helpful. The room was clean and tidy. The buffet breakfast was nice. The free cafe time was an extra treatment.

Accommodation has everything you'll need for a comfortable stay, like a washing machine with dryer function, equipment and cutlery for preparing meals and air conditioning with heater and dehumidifier function. Very good location with close access to amenities like a supermarket, places to eat and a train station a short walk away. Value for money

Bathroom feels cramped as it has both bathtub and the toilet bowl. Shower/bath tap has dedicated hot/cold tap with very hot water so be careful when using it. You'll have to transfer trains at Ikebukuro station from the Seibu line to other lines to access Tokyo (about a 150m walk from the Seibu line to the entrance of JR lines) which'll add around 160yen of travel cost.

The room is unexpectedly good. The facilities and amenities are completed. The room layout is well planned and spacious compared to the room type. And the bed is decent with pillows (I love a lot of pillows)

The hotel itself was nice, clean and stylish, good beds and bathroom and utilities, the shuttle service was good too

The location was very isolating, up a steep hill, only thing of value around location was Oishi Park, outside of this the entire town is located on the opposite side of the lake. The view is superior here but we came on a cloudy day and so everything was very far away. No kitchen operating while we were there

There was no facilities for drinking tea or coffee. It would be nice to provide a bedside light. The overhead lights were harsh.
