The rooms in the separate buildings are not at all compatible to the main building and the rich atmosphere there. The rooms are a bit dingy. Also, there was a wedding taking place at the time of our stay, which meant we could not access parts of the property and had to be found a corner to have a drink. We did not get to see the main rooms at all. I think it would be proper to communicate this to guests, as they are paying for the entire package but cannot make use of all the facilities.

The main building is very nice. Dinner and breakfast were very good. The staff was very friendly.

They could've given more and bigger towels for three people, but we we stayed one bight onky, we didnt bring it up.

It is in a very beautiful town, the hotel is beautiful too. We had a junior suit, and the bed was very comfortable.

They asked us to stay in a different building. This was not clearly mentioned on Booking so it was a disappointment. Also the service at the restaurant was below average: they forgot our wine pairing and still included it in the bill, starter tasted not good so I couldn’t even finish, then my main course was a jacket potato because I told I am vegetarian… We didn’t even see the menu and while taking orders they asked if we wanted fries we said yes without knowing our main course. So basically I ate potato with potato for main course.

My room was not in the main building. It was in one of the several neighbouring buildings. My room was disappointing (cold wind through the window, no real bathroom, but shower and sink right beside the bed,..). It was like a cheap youth hostel, not like an hotel.

The breakfast in the main building was nice. The staff is very friendly and supported me in different ways.

The walls in our room were too thin. We could hear the guests using the bathroom, and talk. Cars were parked straight under our window sill, no privacy. We also disliked not being informed about the wedding and party that took place. Our room was next to a lot of the party guests. All in all poor planning and no relevant information in advance.

We liked the space around the main building and the abundant amount of green.

Amazing nature around hotel and restaura t. It feels realy ZEN to walk there in the garden knowing that not far away is city. Realy special interior in restaurant. Very good breakfast. It was last minute booking but we are very happy that we could enjoy stay there. 😁

The rooms in the remote building are quite basic and give you the feeling like you are staying in any random hotel room. They take away the charm that the main building offers. As such, you don't really have a feeling that you stay at a "Estate". On top of this, the rooms are very hot during the night and even when you change the room temperature, the system automatically resets itself to default temperature.

As lovely as the main building is, the rooms we got in the outbuildings were pretty awful really. Design is one thing (horrible mix of some weird medieval carpets, tiles, ugly modern wallpaper and bright green modern shelving) but hygiene is another. These rooms are not properly cleaned, dusty, sticky stuff on bed, grimy sideboards, dirty cups, spiders and bugs in bed (seriously), a toilet which seemed to have never seen bleach, totally unacceptable and below the standard of what you expect of such an establishment. The deal we got was indeed to good to be true, the furthest outbuilding is a no go! Note we had 3 rooms for 3 nights, our review can be deemed objective, we are not types to complain easily. Staff in main building were very friendly and seemed not to be the right ones to complain to, so I did not bother in the end.

We were staying in one of the separate standing buildings, Botanica, modern one, and supposedly eco friendly, but unfortunately very noisy. You can basically hear everything what is going on in the rooms or in the corridor. Besides, something like an alarm was going off all the time during the night, so it was impossible to sleep. We would suggest that the personnel should better inform guests about being more respectful to others at late hours. Otherwise we would suggest to pick a different building if it’s available. It was not very clean in the bathroom as well.

Pretty good location, Vught, only 5 minutes by train from Den Bosch, green and peaceful area, very picturesque.

Beautiful monumental villa in the middle of a park, with adjacent buildings used for accommodation. We stayed in the Botannica building, which has spacious, modern and clean rooms. We had dinner and breakfast in the main villa. The food was delicious and the staff very helpful. We took a walk around the park, which is very well maintained.

When you arrive there is just parking lot. You park your car walk with luggage t reception where they tell you your room is 5min walk outside the main building. So you have to go back to your car with luggage and drive to your room. This was false advertising and the rooms we got have nothing to do with 4* rating !!! We got shoe box style room. If you check the pictures on Booking.com and the room we got are 2-3* hotel rating. Doors have been smashed by someone - check pictures, the wash sink is in your bedroom, if you taking shower person from the bed can see you as the glass door have only sticker in the middle section(not sure if this is on purpose), the smallest TV I have ever seen in hotel room :D :D :D (my PC monitor is larger than that) so if you want to watch TV from your bed, please bring binoculars. No reception phone in the room so if you want to talk to someone you have to walk in hallway where you can find phone. No thermostat or AC to adjust room temperature, dusty window blinds, carpet has also seen better days. To be honest look to stay elsewhere.

“The Zwaluw” rooms badly needed to be upgraded and cleaning staff was dismal. One day my room was not cleaned at all. Shower stall was only cleaned once during my two week visit and toilet randomly but not every day and vacuum did only did once during my stay as well.

The location is really good and staff are friendly
