How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The breakfast was a bit expensive.
It’s in the perfect location. There is plenty to see and do around. The rooms were big, everything was clean and the staff is nice.

The wifi was poor in the rooms The bedframe was firm but the mattress was lumpy. Street noise was loud; soundproof windows possible?

Hotel H12 is very well located in the old town, easy access to the sights, tram stop and train stop. The room is lovely, clean and modern with good shower. Breakfast was amazing, great variety of food and very tasty. Reception staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgable.

The hotel is very well located. Just around the corner from the market square and busy little streets but in a quiet road. Rooms a very modern and beautifully decorated. The bathroom is spacious and an actual separate room, no glass walls, which we really appreciated. All members of staff were very friendly. There is unlimited free coffee and tea in the lobby and breakfast was scrumptious.

We couldn't turn on ventilation in bathroom so we were enjoying baby's poop smells. I'm fine with mine 😉. Air wasn't moving even though we opened windows.
Breakfasts were great with many options and changing each day so it wasn't boring. Great location! 30m to park which was great during hot days or just to drink your coffee there. Hotel is in the old town so everything is very close. Neutral note: View to the inner yard was rather quiet than spectacular.

the bathroom, and shower, is a bit small, and the wifi is a bit tenuous, occasionally disconnecting, and not very fast.
The location is perfect for people traveling by train - a short walk from the train station, and only a few blocks from the main square. The hotel is clean, the rooms utilitarian but comfortable, and the staff was quite nice. The price was excellent for a city as big as Krakow

The hotel is just 2-minute walking from the central square and opposite the surrounding park of the old city.So,the location is just perfect!The stuff was very polite and useful to any questions we asked and tried to provide us with all the information we needed!The rooms were modern and really clean.We would stay there again☺️

Very little to put a finger on. The room was on the small side. Beds were a bit hard and would have loved 1 large single bed instead of 2 smaller ones, as they kept wanting to slide apart (wheels). Low water pressure in the shower. .
Perfect placement, central but quiet and nice. Room was neat and clean, fresh water provided every day, lovely soap and lotion. Staff was absolutely amazing, very serviceminded and always smiling all around. Cleaning was spotless. The breakfast was large and delicious with various options. Staff was consistently refilling, so there was always fresh food.

Having limited number of electrical sockets would be good to have USB ones.
Perfect location for the downtown visitors, very close to the main square, but hotel is on a quiet street. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Will come back definitely

Absolutely nothing to dislike !
This was very last minute as my original hotel called me the day before to say they had double booked and were moving me to a hotel further out. Being a solo traveller I wanted to be near the square. I was dubious as it was still available so wondered what was wrong with it.?? Absolutely nothing! It was a 5 minute walk from the main square. Modern, spotlessly clean and spacious ! Plenty of variety at breakfast. There was a bottle of water in the room which was replaced each day. Also a pair of slippers which was a lovely touch. Unlimited water, tea and coffee in reception and there was usually cake as well in the afternoons. My room was on the front so I thought it might have been noisy but heard very little noise ! Bathroom was spacious with a walk in shower and a shelf to place your toiletries. Even had a heated towel rail which worked ! There was a small bar and the prices were very reasonable. The girls on reception were lovely and helpful with directions and ordering me a taxi back to the airport. They always said hello when leaving for the day or when I was coming back in. I was quite sad to leave!

Lovely clean and tidy room with maid tidying service each day ,not always provided these days since COVID. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a vast choice for breakfast. Wonderful value for the money. The other bonus was the location,10 mins from the station and 5 mins from the main square.
