Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. United KingdomI stayed for four days so the Breakfast became quite repetitive. It was great to have access to the pool area, but the Jacuzzi didn't feel warm enough. The room was fine, but the pillows on the bed were very big, which unfortunately really hurt my neck for the entire stay.
Location was good, very close to the beach. The room was clean and had access to a balcony with a bit of a sea view. The staff was friendly and it was lovely to have access to the pool and jacuzzi included in the price.

United Kingdomit didn’t really feel 4 star despite the price; we had to ask to get our room cleaned, one day got a fresh towel with a big yellow stain, and one morning the hot water in the shower ran out
the location is excellent as it’s very close to the pier and the beach. The newer part of the hotel looks very modern and elegant.

Czech RepublicI would not be so brave to call the hotel "wellness & spa". Unfortunately, we booked the hotel, because we wanted to rest and relax in wellness & spa (after discovering Poland in windy and cold weather), so the fact that this part of the hotel is a huge scam was super disappointing to us. One small swimming pool with cold water, one broken sauna and mini "whirpool" for 4 people max - and u keep touching each other, that´s how small it is. Also there were just 2 deck chairs for the whole hotel. Considering how big the hotel is, there is not a chance you find a space to enjoy any of these things as it is designed for 4-5 people in total, not for a fully booked hotel. Huge disappointment. Also the fact that there is not a free parking space is something you need to considerate, because the price might look like it is cheaper than hotels around, but you have to pay at least 50zl per day for parking on parking spaces around. Breakfast was just basic, but fine at the end.
The best thing about the hotel is its location - 5-10 minutes to the city center, beach and shops are pretty much around the corner and it is has a great position for planning trips around (underground city and other military stuff). Everything was clean and the room was spacious with everything you might need.
