Very noisy bathroom door, breakfast started late at 9:00, we’d have preferred earlier.

Beautiful hotel with lots of attention to detail. Lovely helpful staff especially Tiago. Perfect if you would like a quiet retreat in a rural setting. There are some delightful little cafes & restaurants nearby ( short walk but with hill). The beaches a short drive away are stunning & great surf.

Quirky hotel, very clean. Nice area to sit outside the room. Great swimming pool. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about surrounding area. Lovely breakfast.

The hot water in the shower is a little chancy - never cold, but sometimes variable.

The host was very welcoming and accommodating to this solo walker. The floor plan is a little serpentine. The grounds are immaculate and very spacious, and the breakfast was just the thing with which to start a day on foot. The property is so attractive and comfortable - almost resort-like -that I wished I'd planned my schedule to stay an extra day.

The room that we had booked had been changed. We went from having a double bed in the room, to having twin beds. They said that the room was and upgrade…

Coffee machines were very slow, furniture on balcony broken seat,fan in room was stinking One day we put towels on floor to be cleaned and they were folded up and put on side and not cleaned and more information on having option to eat in would be helpful

superb place in the middle of nature, at the same time close to the beach and a small village. Not too touristic, so not overcrowded. Great place for families with a lot of facilities for kids.

The interior is old-fashioned and partly dangerous. An electrical heating had literally broken into two pieces, and it was turned on! In our eyes a security hazard of sorts. Lots of handles have come loose and the rooms had a musty smell.

It's charming (we loved talking to the woman at the reception, and we got a great early breakfast).

My partner and I stayed in the triple basic room. It was so tiny we had to move some things outside to make room to put our suitcases on the floor. Although the 2nd bed was up a ladder on a balcony over the shower room I really don't know how 3 people would managed! It was also extremely damp, we could not use the cupboard because it smelt of mould and our sheets felt cold and damp when we got into bed. The internet was sporadic. We mentioned some of these isues to the receptionist her response was it was a standard room. We felt like second class citizens. In retrospect we should have made more of a fuss but but we didn't want to spoil our time in this small beautiful hotel. However, I have stayed in more spacious backpacker hostels and at over £100 per night it is very over priced. If you want to book this hotel do not book this room!

All the public areas in the hotel are beautiful and comfortable with lovely Indian furniture. The surrounding location is fabulous and the situation very tranquil. I loved the yoga room with the lovely panoramic window, the pool and sauna.
