The room was quite small and the air was very still, a small fan would have helped. Other than that, it was excellent

So unique, down to every detail. The entire hotel was curated with period pieces and decor, which provided a very one of a kind experience. Beds were comfortable, water was hot, everything was very clean. Breakfast was wonderful

Location, location and full of character. We loved this hotel. Yes it does have a lot of bits and pieces but that's what makes it so interesting. Annabella, the receptionist could not have been nicer. The hotel is in the old walled city which is perfect for investigating the town. At night it takes on a whole different feel.

The bathroom was small and a bit outdated, which was a minor drawback. The breakfast was okay, though there could be some room for improvement in terms of variety and options available

This property I can recommend. It is well located in centre of historic Óbidos. It is attractive, rooms light & well equiped & some with views, comfortable beds, good quality linen, & an excellent breakfast included. The staff are friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. It is a charming guesthouse with several lovely sitting areas & a sunny courtyard.

Walk from the free car park outside the city walls. Only a 5 min walk so no big deal considering the wonderful accommodation!

Beautiful original home that has been in the family for almost a century! Large room and bathroom. Plenty for breakfast. Friendly and accommodating staff. Central location. Wonderful to wander through town in the morning and evening with fewer tourists!

Absolutely nothing. We would go back there in a minute. It is well worth the mile hike with our suitcases up to the castle and hotel.

The breakfast was delicious, the location, right under the Obidos Castle was perfect, the room and all the many perfectly protected rooms of the hotel were delightful. We loved the outdoors patio, the many quaint living rooms and the wine cellar that had not been touched for decades. We felt so welcome there.

Carrying/dragging our bags from the gate to the end of the village over the cobblestones was not fun and then it was hard to get the housekeeper’s attention to unlock the door so we could store our bags until check in even though we had given advance notice of our approximate arrival time.
