We would have liked t o have a coffee preparation set in the room, but that was all. We loved our 2 night sray there.

The place is very charming, like an old fashioned home, very warm and inviting. Only 8 rental rooms. Quiet with a huge garden and pool ( which we didnt use). Good breakfast, not too fancy but enough to start the day. Beds were excellent, although they only had 2 twin beds for us and not a double bed. There was no check in time, they asked us about our time of arrival and we got the room when we arrived, at about 10:30 in the morning...

It was quite rural and needed taxi or hire car. Buses went to Horta, but very spasmodic.

.A fabulous oldy world quinta. Room furniture was original wood. All very comfortable. The owners were always on hand to help with any queries/arranging taxis etc. Beautiful gardens with view of Pico swimming pool, sauna, pool 🎱 table

I would appreciate an electronic kettle in the room: Anabella was very kind preparing the hot water, but it would be just much more convenient to have the kettle in the room, so you can drink the tea whenever you want, not disturbing the others or even at night. I didn't notice that there was a paid wi-fi - only the open network. And it's better to have a secured network with a password (maybe, even individual for every room), so that the privacy is kept. Just as the proposal: it might be worth considering that you can rent bicycles or scooters right in the building. I didn’t need it, since I was walking, but my neighbor constantly called a taxi, and it’s not cheap if it’s every day.

Staff: very polite and helpful :)) I enjoyed the breakfast: it was, at first, tasty (especially, the ham) and, secondly, there was a good balance between milky and bread-related products. Also, the coffee was remarkable)) I appreciate the atmosphere in the house and in the room: it was driving the mood. And, certainly, the bed was very comfortable, everything was always clean and accurate.

laundry services are expensive, cleaning room was not really done ( no change of towels, emptying garbage bin) ect and old furniture style so bed was not so conformtable

The village it is located is not particularly charming and for dinner you better go to Horta town or on the coast. It is located 8-10minutes by car from Horta.

Very clean classic hotel with large rooms. Nice garden with swimming pool. Other activities such as billard, sauna, board games included. Breakfast was good. Kids welcomed Close from the botanical garden and on the way to the caldeira.

The breakfast is lovely. But it is the same every day Most people stayed just a few days but since we where there for almost a weak we noticed.

Beautifull house and kind owners. It is situated close enough to Horta to be part of town but far enough to enjoy a rural atmosphere. Sadly the weather was rather grey when whe where there as the pool looked very tempting. The overal style of the gardens and building is very nice. A pleasant eye for detail.

Everything was super great. When you have a room to the street side it might be possible that you hear cars sometimes. With windows closed you here it barely, and also not a lot of cars drive there.

We highly recommend this accomodation. Everything is very clean, everywhere nice details in the house which make you feel like home. The owner and the staff are very friendly. The garden and the pool invite you to relax there. In addition to that the breakfast is also good and the location - it is really close to Horta. So you are in a quiet place away from the city, but with the car it only takes you 5-10 minutes to Horta. We would definitely stay here again!

The house in a wonderful area. From the garden you can see the Pico volcano. The house , the equipments are super high leveled.

The venue is cash only payment with an expectation of a deposit prior to arrival. Since we were traveling from out of country, we were unable to pay our deposit in advance. We were assured that our room would be held for us and that we could pay in full when we arrived (which was honored), but it was a little nerve-wracking - especially since there was no one at the reception desk to check us in when we arrived, so my husband had to go searching around to find someone. We also had some trouble with the air conditioning the first night, but we got it sorted out.

The room was clean and tidy, with a daily room cleaning service. The grounds were very nice as well; we really enjoyed the pool and gardens. A sauna and Turkish bath were available as well, but we didn't use these services. We were also able to get some laundry done for a small fee, which we really appreciated. It was easy to get in and out of the hotel with the room and gate keys provided.

It is not a hotel: no bar, no snacks, poor choice of breakfast, Beds not very comfortable.

For B&B I would score this much higher. Very Nice setting (rooms and garden with pool, close to Horta and airport)
