Auchendennan FarmSelf Catering Cottages offers a beautiful setting in Arden, a short walk from the shores of Loch Lomond and only 2 miles from Balloch. These charming cottages are purpose-built and have free Wi-Fi. This is a great location and once they are finished with the restoration it will be exceptional! I love the idea of turning a farmstead into varying self catering accommodations. The setting was perfect! The room we stayed in was huge! It was clean, the shower had great water pressure and temperature control. The bed was comfy too. We enjoyed walking around the property. There's a washer and dryer on-site too that appears to be free to use.

The dinner was delicious.

The host was kind enough to offer us a bottle of local single malt over and above the complimentary whisky in our rooms each day.

Each room at the B&B features a TV with satellite channels and DVD player, a wardrobe and parquet floor. There is also tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with power shower and hairdryer. We arrived late and were exhausted. Annelise couldn’t be more accommodating. She quickly provided an adapter for our US chargers and recommended the Bistro next door for dinner. Our room was spotless, with many breakfast items available for the morning. The village is very quaint.

There is an outside decking area for relaxation and plenty of walking paths along the surrounding mountain ranges. Glasgow Airport is a 45-minute drive from the property, which has free parking. Rooms were comfortable and the view from the room was stunning!

Individually designed rooms feature feather pillows and duvets and Egyptian cotton bedding. All include a Freeview LCD TV, safe, and a hospitality tray, as well as en suite bathroom with luxury Scottish toiletries. The staff was friendly, the rooms were magical, the toiletries were great, the food was phenomenal, the location was beautiful!!

The main hotel building is now under new ownership (previous owner holding onto Beach House rooms)

Guests can also relax in the beer garden, which overlooks Loch Long. Loved staying here! The staff were so friendly, beautiful location & great rooms. The breakfast was delicious!
