San Sebastian is a beautiful, historic town. There is much history to learn (we had a private guide for this) along with all the beauty it offers We took the funicular up to the top of Mt. Urgull and walked along the Ondarreta beach from our dinner one night. We could have stayed several more days to go through the museum and just wander through the entire town, not just the Old Town. We were there 3 nights and easily could have added 2 more.

There was a bike ride that finished in the centre the day we stayed so it was very busy which added to the experience. Parking was not easy ,they give you very little room in the parking bays in the underground parking and forget about parking on the streets! We were there on a Sunday.
Loads of tapas bars to choose from. I would have liked to shop but not a lot open ,but it was a Sunday after all!
Look up , the buildings are wonderful.

There are restraints nearby where you can eat delicious Pinchos, so it was quite easy to get to. It was incredibly quiet from night to morning. Yes, there was no noise at all. I never once felt like I was in an unsafe place.
Next time I'll try taking the bus.

San Sebastian is really a great city for views: you have 2 mountains accessible on foot with great views on the bay (concha), the city and the ocean. There is also nice architecture (Art Nouveau), a great basque history/art museum (San Telmo) and a maritime museum with an aquarium.
And there is a great beach for surfing (Zurriola). So on the boulevards you can see side by side a surfer with surfboard and a very smartly dressed couple walking toward the Kuursaal.

Parks and beaches are beautiful.
Parks and beaches are beautiful. Food at some bars and restaurants is phenomenally good! I didn’t have time to visit museums, but I expect they are up to the quality of other aspects of public life. And people on the street and in the bars seemed to be enjoying themselves a lot. (Although everyone seems to love a holiday weekend.)

The city is pretty and clean.
The city is pretty and clean. The food is excellent and varied leaning heavily to sea food. It is easy enough to walk around, there is taxi service for some of the attractions not downtown e.g. the stadium. Let me say, however, it is not as inexpensive as other places in Spain. Food can be pricey, especially some of the sampling meals in the restaurants. My Spanish is pretty okay, but, believe me Basque is not at all similar, fortunately, most menus, etc. are written in Spanish, French and English as well. The people are friendly and will work with you.
Beautifully designed and decorated boutique hotel, helpful and attentive staff. We pre-booked parking as noted in the hotel details and were grateful they parked the car for us, and offered a complimentary drink on arrival. The room was very smart and comfortable, modern and new. The hotel has been ingeniously created out of a very small space, with hidden parking below the building. The location is right next to the old town with 100s of restaurants and poncho bars, and also right next to La Concha beach. Amazing!
Hotel was built about 2-3 years ago. So it was so clean, new and luxurious. the staffs were friendly and always helpful. Also Narru, Michelin guide rated restaurant was AWESOME. food was beyond our expectation. Everything we ordered was superb. We loved so much that we went three times during our stay. It was best restaurant among Michelin restaurant we went in San Sebastian. I strongly recommend this hotel and restaurant.
OST is located immediately next to the train station which was ideal given we travelled from Barcelona to San Sebastián by train. The hotel was immaculately clean, our room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. It is some distance from the Old Town but it’s a comfortable and pleasant walk beside the river to get to the beach, bars and restaurants. The arrangement for breakfast is unusual and quirky but it works !!!
The apartment is newly renovated hence everything is nice and clean. The bathroom / shower is upper end Hotel quality. Smart TV with many apps like YouTube, streaming etc. to mention, house has elevator. Rooms are lovely decorated. Location is perfect, basically 5 min walk to the beach and old town. Arrival / departure well managed. No waiting times. Would book it anytime again if I am at San Sebastián.
Brand new apartments, really clean , not that big but enough space for 2 people. The location is great. Only one thing was parking, that is not that easy in the area and private parking are a bit expensive in Spain (nothing to do with the hotel though).Special thanks to the girl at the reception that was really helpful on giving advices and some nice spots to visit at the area !!
Nice little hotel with views of the ocean. You can walk to downtown and back along the boardwalk -takes30 minutes each way. The restaurant downstairs is good for quick coffee and snacks. Staff are very helpful and showed us where we can park overnight for free.
We enjoyed San Sebastián and that was in large measure thanks to Hotel Ezeiza.
The location was excellent, just a very short walk to the beach and the promenade walk into San Sebastián. The bed was comfortable. The internet worked well and the staff were helpful. There is a nice wine bar on the main floor, not run by the hotel but delicious pintxos and wine so an asset. Enjoyed having a small balcony.
Room was spacious and very clean/modern. Hotel is not central but only 15-20 min walk into city centre. Hotel staff are very helpful. Very pet friendly (dog got its own bed and bowls) and absolutely great value for money. Can reserve parking as well. Was a stop over driving to south of Spain and it was great!
Lura on reception was excellent hosts she let us upgrade our room with a small charge well worth it . Best hotel weve had on our spain adventure in two months . The surprise of a lovely dog bed and bowls for our little dog was so thoughtful . Can’t wait to return !
Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was spotlessly clean, very efficiently run and in an excellent location for exploring the old town. The rooms were very comfortable and the private underground parking facilities were a real bonus.
Our room was very comfortable, the bath was a big advantage. Hotel's staff was really nice and they were all speaking English (which is not so obvious in Spain). Really good price for such a comfortable room.
There are almost no hotels in the Old City of San Sebastian and that is exactly where you want to be This is perfectly located. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful Rooms are well designed and clean.
Beautiful hotel situated in a great location for pintxos bar hopping in Old Town. Our room had an amazing view of the beach. We felt instantly at home the moment we got in. All the staff were great as well!
Clean and basic hotel with good aircon. A nice 30 min walk to the old town which is a good point in its favour - gets your steps in! Free parking which seems rare in Spain.
rooms are modern with great facilities. Hotel location great for exploring and overlooks the river. Staff totally brilliant and friendly and San Sebastián such a great city
the staff and location were superb. you cannot beat the location. facilities were incredibly nice and the included breakfast was actually the best we have had in Spain!
