This hotel is situated near downtown Thunder Bay, just a 4-minute drive from Thunder Bay International Airport. It features two on-site restaurants, a lounge, and a modern fitness center. The property was undergoing renovations at the time. but you’d never know it. They did a nice job of isolating any areas that were being renovated. My room was clean and spacious and the shuttle was wonderful. Actually, it was the shuttle that first drew me to the property when I was searching. The parking is in a safe area in front of the hotel. The shuttle is every half an hour from the airport which is less than five minutes away. The staff was also lovely. As I was boarding the shuttle I was informed that my flight would be a day late. I went back inside and immediately was able to book another room. The staff is personable friendly and even though they were busy, they had friendly attitudes and were most helpful and letting me know things I could do during my “extended “stay. I will absolutely stay at this property again when in the area. I wish that Air Canada was as organized and thoughtful as this hotel.And the restaurant on site had lovely fish and chips.

The room was a good size,and very clean.The beds were comfortable,and quiet.The staff were friendly and kind.I was quite impressed.The breakfast was good and the coffee OK.Next time we go to Thunder Bay this will be our hotel.Thank You.
