Casa Rolando Golfito is located 500 metres from Golfito Bay and 1 km from Golfito Nature Reserve. It features a furnished terrace with a swimming pool, free Wi-Fi and sauna. Pool area beautiful! Great bird watching in morning and late afternoon. Scarlet and green macaws, toucan’s, plus lots of other birds. Restaurant/bar area with great staff and great food. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very helpful, hardworking. Housekeeping was exceptional!

Featuring a natural swimming pool and an extensive tropical garden, this eco-lodge is set in the rainforest just 2 km from La Gamba Village, on the edge of Piedras Blancas National Park. What a spectacular property. A bird watchers paradise. The cabins are rustic but clean no ac. The highlight are the personable and skilled naturalists who lead the tours. We enjoyed a mangrove tour, bird watching walks and a forest night walk all excellent. Being adjacent to a national park there is also abundant wildlife. The pool and lounge areas are lovely.
