We thought Hotel New Bilbao Airport was great. Our room was huge and clean with a comfortable bed, and it had a smart modern design -- specifically, it had charging outlets on each side of the bed near the headboard. It'd be nice if all hotels had the same. The front-desk employees were great, the price was right for the beer at the small bar area, and the airport shuttle did the job at 5:10 a.m. Would recommend!

The Holiday Inn Express Bilbao is just 5 minutes’ drive from Bilbao Airport and the hotel offers a free airport shuttle service for guests. Perfect airport hotel with an exceptionally professional and helpful staff. World class standards were met and exceeded. The location close to the airport was great for our early morning flight and free airpirt shuttle service was perfect. The staff was amazing and so nice! We took a short side trip to Barcelona for some sightseeing, and they let us leave most of our luggage in their luggage storage room, for two days and we arranged for the shuttle driver to meet us at the airport with our stored luggage in time for checkinjg into our flight back to the US. We offered a nice tip to the charming shuttle driver which was politely but firmly refused. Wow.

The owner was really nice and depite the very last minute booking we made and the fact that it was Christmas and Sunday night she was ready to welcome us within one hour! Beautiful, clean and very comfortable apartment for a big family 10 minutes from the Bilbao airport! In the residential area with groceries and tapas bars!
