My husband and I visited Islay to attend the Fèis Ìle 2023. We chose this property so we can also have the chance to experience local living. My husband and I are blown away by the beauty of the house and the serenity of the place. What made our stay exceptional was the warm welcome and hospitality extended to us by Jim and Caroline. Jim, who also operates a taxi service and private tours, all the more made it convenient for us to go around the island and visiting distilleries. Sharing his love for the island and knowledge about whisky further deepened our experience. We highly recommend their place and Jim’s transport services.

I can’t say enough nice things about this place! We booked rather last minute and it was the only place left in town. We weren’t expecting much but boy were we surprised! We had a room with a detached prive bath which was clean, conveniently located and much easier than it sounds. The room was so quiet and comfortable. By far the best part was the staff!! A rather large storm came through, canceling the ferries and forcing us to change plans. AJ was SO helpful with weather, ferry schedules and even packed us a breakfast to go as we had to leave early. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends.
