Hornafjordur Airport - HFN, Höfn – hotely v okolí

Boasting panoramic views towards the famous Vatnajökull glacier and the surrounding mountains, Árnanes Country Hotel offers free Wi-Fi. The harbour town of Höfn is only 6 km away. Located near to the city of Hofn. Arnanes really is one of the highlight our of trip as we spend a good times here during our stay. The staff at the restaurant is very polite as well and the unit is like a small terrace house made up mainly by timber. A short drive will get you to Hofn where you can spend a good dinner there and drove back to the hotel for a good rest. Recommended to those who visiting Hofn, Arnanes would be a good choice to spend your night here :)

We were not sure how to access the keys at first as we had to enter the black door on the south side first. As there is an apartment in the other half of the house we though we would be entering somebodys apartment by opening the doors. But then the key was easy to find and the apartment was perfect for an overnight stay.

Set just 1 km from Hornafjördur Airport, this guest house offers guest rooms with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi access. The Route 1 Ring Road is right next to the guest house. Great place to stay next to road Nr 1 in the southeast part of Iceland. Checking in and out is very easy and flexible (self checkin available if you arrive late), the room has everything you need for a few day long stay including: hair dryer, towels, bedsheets, kettle, tea, coffee, TV with english channels, hangers, carpark etc. Maybe a small fridge would be handy but since we were staying there in the middle of November, our car's trunk just did the job 🙂 The room was clean and spaceous for two of us. The crew is very friendly and helpful as well!

Just 1 km off Iceland’s Ring Road, this privately-run guest house is 4 km from Höfn town centre. It offers free WiFi, scenic views of the surrounding nature and a furnished terrace in the garden. Clean apartment with very nice kitchen and bathroom with heated floor. I really liked the number of sockets for recharging phones and cameras. Really recommending this one.

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Höfn in south-east Iceland, this hotel is found along Route 1, close to the country’s largest glacier Vatnajökull. We enjoyed seeing northern lights. We were very lucky because it was raining in the evening. Staff was friendly, room warm, spacious enough and quiet. The best part was the breakfast, in one word, delicious! Congratulations guys
