The staff, especially the cleaning staff, but also reception, were very pleasant and helpful. In particular, I appreciated the help with retrieving my suitcase which was lost in transit and, at the end of my stay, helping me move my luggage to the other Svalbard Hotel for my Polar Quest cruise. Basecamp Hotel on perinteinen lodgetyylinen majoituspaikka, joka sijaitsee keskeisellä paikalla Longyearbyenissä vain 15 minuutin ajomatkan päässä Longyearbyenin lentoasemalta. The property is very unique in terms of the look & feel of the boutique hotel. Not too big but tastefully made. No shoes allowed inside so it stays clean thru out. Nice breakfast.

Located in Longyearbyen and within 1.2 km of Svalbard Church, Russkiy Dom features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. It was the cleanest hostel/ hotel I have ever stayed in. Spotless and modern, excellent kitchen fully equipped. The shower and toilets were separate, which makes a huge difference, also spotlessly clean. Yulya and Sam were outstanding and quickly became "family"

Overall the hotel has this cosy atmosphere, rooms very simple but very stylish. Heating in the room was perfect. It was also very quiet so it made really easy for me to unwind after a long day spent on tours. The staff is amazing, absolutely doing everything to make the whole experience even better. Special mention to Maggie and Sergey who went above and beyond to make sure that people enjoy their time in the hotel. Breakfast selection is just enough in my opinion, everything is fresh and well prepared.

Haugen Pensjonat Svalbard sijaitsee Longyearbyenissa 1,3 km:n päässä Svalbardin kirkolta. Paikan päällä on maksuton WiFi. The kitchen was fully equiped with all you need for cooking : e.g.herbs, muesli, and even coockies. Exceptionally clean and a feel-at-home atmosphere.
