Breakfast was good, catering for all tastes. Had a cooked breakfast or continental depending on that day's preference. Enjoyed options of tea, varieties of coffee and hot chocolate and/or fruit juices. All meals provided options and food was tasty and there was plenty of it. Enjoyed the evening drinks breaks during drives and felt very special to come back to the lodge and find a choice of cocktails awaiting us. The most amazing experiences and wild life sightings made this an outstanding holiday. We liked the fact we could fit in a morning drive on the day of departure. Made our day.

Alle accommodaties hebben een eigen badkamer met een douche, een haardroger en gratis toiletartikelen. De accommodatie verzorgt elke ochtend een continentaal ontbijt of een ontbijtbuffet. Heel lekker gegeten, ook onze zoon van 8jaar genoot heerlijk mee. De warmwaterkruik was een heerlijke verrassing om ‘s avonds na de gamedrive in de iets koudere tent aan te kunnen verwarmen. Bleef ook de hele nacht lekker warm. De gamedrives waren ontzettend uitgebreid en informatief. We hebben heel veel bijgeleerd en gezien.

Simbambili Lodge ligt in het wildreservaat Sabi Sand. Dit romantische toevluchtsoord biedt een unieke ervaring in Marokkaanse stijl en ligt op een afgelegen locatie in de weidse savanne. This lodge is absolutely stunning! Every amenity, the food, the staff, the environment…all simply perfect. I could not have asked for more. You cannot go wrong with Simbambili. And the massage was definitely one of the best I have ever had.

Umkumbe Safari Lodge Riverside ligt in Skukuza, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning en toegang tot een tuin met een buitenzwembad. Sommige units hebben een zithoek en/of een patio. This was our final stop in a 10 day trip around Kruger and the greater Kruger area and it was the absolute cherry on top of an amazing exploration. The location on the river is amazing and a dip in the pool looking out at passing wildlife is a true delight. What set this stay apart however was the game drives and our incredible guide Shannon. We were fortunate enough to be able.to see both wild dogs and in our final morning game drive two leopard cubs/eight months old. Shannon is one of the most knowledgeable and professional guides we have encountered in our travels around the world. Her capacity to find wildlife is remarkable and at the same time the respect she has for conservation.meant that we were able to see these rare creatures but without causing them stress. I would go back again in a heart beat and only wish we had been able to spend more time. Bed and room was comfortable. Food was plentiful and delicious.

Neem deel aan de Afrikaanse vlaktes bij het Lion Sands Private Game Reserve op de warmte van het Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Ranger Syd and Tracker Tony did a very good job, many thanks. The Service could be a little more attentive, but however, the service was very friendly. We feel very welcome and plan to return.

Langa Langa Tented Safari Camp beschikt over een buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en biedt accommodatie in Huntingdon met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Fantastic staff. The main caretaker, Kaley, is great when it comes to customer service. She made sure our stay was comfortable and even went out of the way to pack picnic sandwiches for us when we wanted to venture out on our own. The safari guide, Floid, is very knowledgeable, and if you stay for 2-3 days, he'll make sure you see every type of animal you had on your wish list. These guys include 1 complimentary safari per night of your stay (so if you stay for 3 nights, 3 safaris are inclusive), and I feel it's the best package because a couple of self drives in Kruger are a must do in my opinion, just for the thrill of it. The tents are quite comfortable and have all the amenities you'd expect in a luxurious hotel room. The AC works well (believe me, you NEED it if you visit in the summers like we did), the pool is clean, the bathrooms are great. The food was superlative - we had exotic 3 course complimentary dinners every single evening. I suggest booking a minimum of 3 days to really get the most out of Kruger.

Lion Sands Ivory Lodge in Sabi Sand Game Reserve biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de rivier, een fitnesscentrum, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een restaurant. The location is where it should be- in the bush..its hard to say what we didn't like as that would suggest there's something we didn't like. Everything and everyone we met and bumped into was fantastic
