Sara is a fantastic cook, the home is beautifully decorated, and the location is really great. We were able to see so much and still be 'home' to relax before bed. Achalochan House has been the best stay on our 21 day journey.

I recently spent four nights at this apartment on the Isle of Skye, and it was truly a unique and memorable experience. The location, situated at the center of Skye, is perfect for exploring the entire island within an hour's drive. Nestled on a working farm, the isolation provides a serene escape—I even had a friendly sheep greet me at the door each morning, with no other humans in sight. The modern apartment boasts charming Scottish decor, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with a coffee machine and plenty of pods, was a lifesaver, especially since the nearest supermarket is a 20-minute drive away. Planning ahead for meals is advisable due to limited dining options in the vicinity. One of the highlights for me was the convenience of on-site washing and drying facilities. After a week of driving around, being able to freshen up my clothes was a welcome amenity. Communication with the host was seamless, with prompt responses to all my queries. Overall, this Airbnb provided a tranquil and cozy base for exploring the breathtaking Isle of Skye. Highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful retreat with modern comforts.

It is cosy and has everything that we need for our stay. Our hostess is superb & kind, she went extra length to help us and also provided milk and food for breakfast.

Situated in Portree in the Isle of Skye region, Glenfalloch Beag Apartment, Torvaig has a garden. It is set 40 km from Dunvegan Castle and offers a housekeeping service. Have never stayed in a more thoughtfully done up place - whether it’s the aesthetics or the facilities provided. The space screams Skye in the subtlest of ways, whether it’s the local art adorning the walls or the smidge bug spray quietly placed in the cupboards - the attention to detail is better than any hotel I’ve stayed at. The location is excellent too and not very far from the Skye highlights of Storr and Quiraing. The town too, is a stones throw from the property. What’s more - we got a single malt welcome and even had cake, bread, cereal and milk available fresh for us. We arrived late at night and the hosts were super kind to make themselves available in the rain to let us in. They had provided for booklets on Skye and even placed board games in the side board. They even happily brought along their dog the next morning when i requested to meet them. What a stay!! Made it the most memorable time at Skye! Can’t wait to be back

Very cosy, warm and comfortable place on a beautiful and quiet environment. It was such a pleasure to stay two nights in here !
