Beautiful decorated and it was very clean. The beds sleep very well. The bedrooms are surprisingly very quiet. And Anne here hospitality is kind and thoughtful.

It was a great experience to be staying in a caravan. The unit is clean, towels are crisp clean, all necessary kitchen utensils are available, wifi is strong, good water heaters, beds are comfortable and the host Peter is very kind and nice! The nearest bus station is about 12 mins walk. It will take you an hour to travel going to the city center, but you get to see the neighboring towns and see interesting sights. Overall, we had a relaxing stay in the caravan.

It was an amazing experience to stay at Straven Guesthouse. I felt at home, the bed was very comfortable and the room was beautiful and warm. Breakfast was a whole variety of delicious dishes, home made and beautiful. The sea front is only a few steps away and I enjoyed walking along the sea promenade to the cafés - and walking along the sea shore. I felt looked after and cared for by Sinead and Chris. Lynne is warm and welcoming and makes you feel like you are home. The room was large, beautifully decorated and the facilities excellent. The bus into Edinburg is on the same street and a 15 minute easy trip. This was our last stop on our trip around the UK and we could not have chosen a better place. The Scottish breakfast is to die for, and Lynne’s generosity giving us the treats we simply could not fit in to take away for morning tea was a generous, lovely and unexpected touch.

It was our first rental. We had our own plates, cutlery, cups and on site we found everything we needed and even more. Very clean, fresh bedding, only one thing: the children complained about the lack of internet, but it was known from the beginning, but they still wanted to stay longer. We highly recommend it. The host was absolutely lovely and very accommodating, being at the property when we arrived to show us around. The property was xlean and well laid out. Very suitable for our stay whilst attending a concert in Edinburgh Town centre.
