Very quiet and relaxing. Great sea view. There was no need to even leave the villa as anything needed can be ordered by phone and delivered. The pool was clean and warm.

Tanaya Homestay is a very special place very conveniently located in Amed. The Family running this amazingly welcoming homestay really care for its guests and provide all the different services you would expect (pickup, scooter rental, laundry) at a very fair price. There is also a very nice terrace with a great view over Mount Agung. The cafe/restaurant part of the homestay provides you with very good food also fairly priced. We would definetly recommend staying at Tanaya Homestay for a trip in Amed, and do not hesitate to take the time to discuss with the awesome Family running the show there !

This is our 2nd time went to Amed, and staying at Stairway to Heaven made us LOVE Amed more than ever! Keep in mind that this hotel is on top of the cliff. Most hotels in Amed would have a lobby in front of the road, but this isn't the case, when we first arrived you would just see a parking area (enough for 3 cars and plenty of bikes), and you would find a gate with a staircase going down. About 20s stair steps later, you would see the lobby on the right side, along with the restaurant where you would have breakfast/lunch/dinner. To go to your room, you would have to go down farther, about 40-50 stair more steps right down to the garden area and the beach, and it was an AMAZING beach! Room: Yes you guessed it, to go to your room, you would have to take another 30 stair steps, but it's BEAUTIFUL VIEW from your room! It's spacious inside, and for our case the patio has a bed where you can chill and watch the sunrise/sunsets. When we went in June, Sunrise is right in front of our room, I woke up at 4am just to wait for the sunrise and it was the most tranquilizing moment I've had for a long time. Bathroom is semi-outdoor on the shower area, but also spacious and clean. There's a small fridge in the room, and plenty of towels were provided for our 2 nights stay. The water would come from Aqua 5 gallon bottle with a manual pump so you can have a bit of workout when pumping for water lol. Garden: Our dogs loved it! Spacious garden, we always see the hotel employees every morning taking care of the garden area, it's clean no crazy spider webs, etc. There are some limited amount of sun beds and table also on the garden area, but we don't see too many guests are using it (as most of them gone snorkeling instead) Beach: Very great for Snorkeling! White sand beach (in which is kinda rare I would think in Amed, because in the city center it was all black sand beach due to the volcano), but this tells you there are...

Espaiosa habitació, tot molt net, el llit és còmode i la piscina és molt maca. La platja de Lipah Beach està a 1 km. Baixant unes escales des de la carretera, a uns 150m arribes a un escull coral·lí (es pot fer esnòrquel al matí, a la tarda amb la marea baixa no és possible).

Just a fantastic place. The China Villa is furnished with beautiful Balinese furniture, it has 4 rooms with en-suite bathrooms, a beautiful outdoor area (a dining table for 10, a kid's table, a bed, 2 sofas, a huge sitting area, sun beds...), a kid's and adult's pool, just for the China Villa. It is right at the beach, but it's not so easy to enter the ocean because of the rocky beach. The service is just outstanding. Wayan, Made and Intan cooked for us and were just perfect.

Vam tenir un problema amb un conductor local que ens va deixar tirats, a conseqüència, vam prendre el primer vaixell del qual teniem els tickets comprats cap a Gili Air. Malgrat ser un dia de festivitat a Amed, Susy, l’encarregada del lloc, ens va ajudar a localitzar un altre conductor i a trobar bitllets nous de vaixell per a poder anar a Gili Air. És va preocupar i ens va ajudar. A part l’habitació era enorme! El llit era molt gran i còmode, crec que el millor que hem dormit fins ara. El bany estava molt bé també, dutxa gran, aigua amb pressió i molt ben decorat. El menjar que ofereix al seu Warung també estava espectacular!
