We arrived there in the evening and someone picked us up and brought our luggage up to the hostel. It’s a very cute place, with only a few beds. The staff was really friendly. They prepared great breakfast with self made juice for us in the morning. We decided to stay one additional night, because it is a really peaceful and relaxing place. There is a nice swimming pool and a great view in the valley. They even have a horse. Definitely recommended! I could have stayed there for a week :)

With garden views, Serrano Glamping is situated in El Zaino and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden and terrace. The tented camp features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. We have travelled around South America for the past 5 weeks and our stay at serrano glamping is the most unique and memorable stay that we have had in any location. Paulo contacted me as soon as I had made the booking, and he sorted out our transfer which cost around £30 from Santa Marta airport, and 3 mototaxis up the mountain for me, my wife and our big bag, which cost around £2 each. The location is so unique - accessed via a bridge over a river then up a mountain by walk or moto taxi up into the rainforest above. The accommodation itself was a beautifully unique glamping tent, with shower, toilet and comfortable beds with mosquito nets along with a beautiful balcony from which we watched lots of unique birds. In terms of cleanliness - it is the cleanest property we have stayed at on our travels. Paulo arranged our transfer to tayrona, which took around 5 minutes and cost £3. They gave us excellent advice for our visit to Tayrona - to go early and avoid the crowds, which really made our visit to Tayrona as we were there for doors opening at 7am and had the place to ourselves. Paulo and brune cooked for us both nights we were there, beautiful burgers the first night and chicken wraps the second. Fantastic, simple home cooking at its best from Brune. I cannot thank Paulo and Bruno enough, they are two of the nicest people we have had the pleasure of meeting and we were sorry that we couldn’t stay longer. I can’t recommend the property enough.

Ubytovanie Eco Hostal Kuima sa nachádza v destinácii El Zaino 32 km od miesta Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii záhradu, bezplatné súkromné parkovisko, terasu a bar. Do yourself a favor and book this eco hostal! It was AMAZING!! The rooms were spacious (including a hammock on your balcony, ensuite bathroom, aircon and TV), the breakfast was lovely, the pool was beautiful and the views of the river made and surrounds put you at ease. The location was also ideal, walking distance from really good restaurants and about 2kms to the entrance (El Zaino) of the Tayrona National Natural Park. P.S. Getting there was also easy, just take the green bus (not sure the name) from Santa Marta and hop off right at the Hostal.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace, Senda Casa Tayrona Los Naranjos is situated in Los Naranjos, 35 km from Santa Marta and a 5 minute drive from Tayrona park main entrance. Such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. I am a firm believer that the staff can make or break a hotel and the staff here confidently knows what they’re doing- everyone from the reception to the kitchen staff was extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. A smaller hotel so plenty of attention on the guests. Great rooms at an affordable price- and did I mention views!? Stay here if you’re in Santa Marta. We stayed at three places in the area and this was our favorite.

Ubytovanie Natyva House sa nachádza niekoľko krokov od miesta Pláž Playa de Mendihuaca. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii reštauráciu, záhradu, spoločenskú miestnosť a terasu. The house is close to the beach and the river, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay and Jhon will always try to help you and give you advice to explore the area. You can walk 10 minutes to see the beautiful sunset at the Mendihuaca River. There is actually a house in front of Natyva that is still under construction, but the work would be between 9am and 4pm. We could really rest, you don't hear the party on the other side of the river ;) We were travelling with a small child and everything was fine for him. It is a safe place and a safe environment. We did some day trips from there to Guachaca and Buritaca. Best to have your own/rented car.

Hostal Agroturistico ecológico is a country house located in Guachaca. Complimentary private parking is available on site. The property is 9 km from Parque Nacional Tayrona. Maria, Karolina and Magola were the best hosts we have stayed with!!! They made our stay feels like home: we had dinner with them, play the game "stop" with Karolina and the food made by Maria was really really good!!!! The views are absolutly astonishing! We will remember you forever! Maria also let us leave our bags in their house while we went to pass a night in Park Tayrona!

Posada la Ofelia is situated in El Trompito, 31 km from Santa Marta. There is a restaurant and guests can have fun at the games room. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. One of the most magical places I have ever been lucky enough to stay in. Don Javier is a gem, the food was delicious, and the property was absolutely magical! Also, he makes the best food in all of Colombia.

Villa Del Río is located near El Zaino and 6 km from Los Cocos Beach. It features free parking. Each room here will provide you with a fan. The private bathroom also comes with a shower. The hosts are very kind and helpful! We left our luggage there before going into Tayrona park for a night. After we spend two days in the park we came back and they had the room and luggage ready for us. It's very close to El Zaino entrance and the bus to/from Palomino and Santa Marta comes by every few minutes. Swimming pool was very nice to cool down. Overall very relaxed!
