The 20 euro airport pickup for our 1am checkin went smoothly. 5min walk from a small grocery and the water where you can see a great sunset. Great communication with host on WhatsApp.

We had a nice room, hot water and a direct access to the terrace. The little village of Palmeras is charming and there are no e restaurants a minute away from the hostel. My wife and I had a lovely stay.

The apartment has good windows that block out most of the street noise, you just need to close them. The apartment is perfectly located for the beach which is only a 5 minute walk, and the town at around 10 minutes to the pedestrian street and its restaurants. It was spotlessly clean with everything we needed for our stay. Although we didn’t use it, the pool is clean and well maintained as is the apartment complex. There are a couple of mini-markets on the doorstep for essentials. Ponta Preta beach is close enough to walk with a couple of beach bars. Zuela is the perfect host, on hand when needed but not intrusive, she couldn’t have been better.
