All that being said, I think the thing I liked best about this guesthouse not only how well it was run, but just how fantastic and helpful Yogo (the son) was with recommendations, organizing activities, transportation, and so much more. And the real added bonus is his English is 100%.

Set in Puerto Ayora, 1.1 km from Los Alemanes Beach and 1.2 km from La Estacion Beach, Casa independiente offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. The booking was a good value. I really appreciated the AC units and it was great to have a kitchen, though a can opener and some measuring cups would have been a nice addition. It was also nice to have a living room area where we could hang out as a family, but then each have our own bedrooms.
