What a find… beautifully simple well designed accommodation, with quality bedding and towels, soap, bed and shower . Really tasteful complimentary colours on the walls - beautifully done. We had to leave early before the normal breakfast time so the owner provided some breakfast things before we left. - again good quality and carefully chosen for a tasty breakfast. Easy 7 minute walk to the beach - the owner suggests arriving between 5.30 and 7ish but if you arrive early and want to go to the lovely and popular beach I would suggest you go straight there rather than trying to park in the public parking areas nearby - didn’t realise how. close this house is to the beach. Although we didn’t eat there we would recommend the local restaurant just up the road (the only one) - the owner will give you the details but here they are again (‘Le Château de Sable close to the house (1 mn') welcome you from Wednesday to Sunday evening (with a reservation @+33 2 99 89 01 26). ‘). A lovely little B and B in Cancale; typically French; a little quirky, just what you would expect. Loic is a wonderful host. With little English and us with little French, google translate worked a treat. Loic was able to advise us on where to eat and the best times to visit the local attractions: Mont Saint-Michel, Saint Sevran, Saint Malo Saint Luniere and many more. He made a special trip to the local supermarket to ensure that I was catered for with gluten free products. Parking was not difficult, breakfast was lovely with many choices; breads and crepes, fresh fruit, cheese and jambon. We stayed here for 3 days and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend. .
