Appley is a nice family-led B&B in the hear of Shanklin. Basically all sights and the beach are just 5 minutes walk away (and a lift, in case of the beach). The owners are absolutely lovely and were just the best possible hosts to have. The cooked breakfast was the best we ever had - and we did stay in about 10 other B&Bs just on that vacation. Appley alone is a reason to return to the Isle of Wight, really.

Quiet and private location. The owners were available and friendly at all times. The apartment provided all the necessary things plus a welcome pack of biscuits and strawberry preserve. It would have been easy to stay here for a long holiday.

Our stay was perfect, from the friendly greeting by our host John to our lovely room with views of the amazing gardens. Breakfast served in the elegant dining room with fresh coffee, fruits, toast and other delicious treats. There is a comfortable lounge with a balcony overlooking the gardens where you can relax after a long day exploring this amazing island.
