Good and comfortable stay, they have many options of rooms. Food is very good both veg as well as non veg and worth the prices. They have all amenities. Good hotel must visit and enjoy the stay.

Travelled to Kashmir India 🇮🇳with my family of 6 (including 2 senior citizens and an infant). Great arrangements right from hotel selection to suggestions for itenary to pick up/drop off arrangements. Definitely recommended.

The hospitality was awesome. I didn't expect the service but it was beyond my expectations. My overall experience was great in this boathouse.

I had a wonderful stay at Tashkand houseboat during winter season in January 2023. Musa, the houseboat owner, is very helpful and provide very good service. Dinner at Tashkand was our best dining in Kashmir as it's fresh meat, homemade, and no MSG. If you stay here I recommend trying 1 dining at his place. The place is clean and tidy. There's towels and amenities provided. There s no heater in the bedroom but it's replaced with warmed electric blanket which works very well to keep you warm at night, especially in winter. There are free shikara ride across to main road if you paid for shikara ride trip the first or second day. It's a special deal that the houseboat made with shikara riders so you will get the best deal and save money if you get shikara trip. It was the memorable, affordable house boat price. Chicago Houseboat asub Srinagaris. Majutusasutuse juurde saab sõita suuskadel. Majutusasutus asub Dali järve ääres, Nehru pargist 0,5 km ja Lal Chowk Ghantagharist 3,1 km kaugusel. Very friendly and helpful staff. And delicious food. They helped us to organise our stay to Srinagar and enjoy it!

Mr. Firdous's houseboat was far enough from the street so the only sound you hear is the tranquility of Dal Lake. Every morning, you would wake up to a peaceful view of the lake, plus a well-cooked breakfast (try the egg pizza!) The rooms are wonderful, authentic, and full of patterns (a big YES for maximalist) Mr Firdous knows EVERYONE you need, so he is ready to go the extra mile to accommodate your needs. If he cannot help you with that, he will get you the rightest guy for you. As someone who had stayed 2 weeks before staying Veena Palace, I can say finding dinner is challenging in Srinagar, especially if you live on a houseboat. Worry not because his wife is a wonderful cook who performs art with skill and heart. I tried some dishes from the elaborate Kashmiri wazwan, and I cannot recommend enough the crispy rib and the fish curry. The meatball was mashed to perfection; chewy and juicy. I personally learnt so much about heart-to-heart connection, which is something considerable for solo travellers in India, thanks to Mr. Firdous. My words cannot describe enough for my wonderful stay with Mr. Firdous on his houseboat.
