Bananoz Surfhouse is situated on the seafront in El Tránsito, a few steps from El Transito Beach. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. 11/10 stay. Owners were so lovely and friendly. The property was clean and comfortable. Beach right out front. Can’t beat it!

Situated within 80 metres of Las Peñitas Beach and 1.4 km of Poneloya Beach, JAKES ON THE BEACH features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Las Peñitas. It’s was perfect spot to destress and relax. The service was so exceptional we asked to stay an additional day.

Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, quiet and peaceful community feeling. Intact mosquito nets for each guest were a big plus. Great stay overall!

It has stunning views and was so cute. loved Gretal! She’s amazing, so sweet, so kind, and so caring. She is a fantastic cook as well. All the food was delicious. She also introduced me to her family and gave me a few rides. One was to get my bus and another to Nimbu after the sun had set. I enjoyed practicing my Spanish with her as well. 10/10

Located just a few steps from El Transito Beach, Casa Todo Bueno features accommodation in El Tránsito with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. Jon, Janelle and Lenny's (the boss dog!) place is well worth the stay. Their hospitality is warm, friendly and very helpful, the rooms and bathrooms are clean, spacious, and the beds are super comfortable. The common area and kitchen are really well stocked with cookware, and there's a little grocery store across the street as well as in the town. We loved the viewing deck for lounging in the day. The AC cost (if you use it) is also below the going rate for using AC in Nicaragua, and the ceiling fans / windows move the air around really well. We've been to El Transito a few times and it's by far one of the best deals / places to stay, we're going back again in a few days! You can also ask then questions about what to do and how to get around, they know the area very well and are really helpful.

Comprising a garden and a terrace, Casa de playa de Solano is a recently renovated accommodation in El Tránsito situated close to El Transito Beach. Everything was amazing. If You want to have fun and enjoy they beach. This is the place!

Boasting a garden and a terrace, Palapa Hostel features accommodation in El Tránsito with free WiFi and sea views. It is situated 500 metres from El Transito Beach and offers a shared kitchen. The staff is so friendly and helpful. It’s a 5 min walk from the beach which is nice to experience a bit of the little town. If you’re lucky you can see a baseball game on Sunday. An amazing pupusa place a block away. Equipped kitchen, drinking water, good wifi, and fans for when the heat gets really bad. I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed it a lot. It’s more rustic, so you should be okay with composting toilets, climbing ladders, and mosquito nets.
