I have no bad thing to say about this hostel. Yes it could look like a normal private room hostel, but the way we felt staying at Rafa’s hostel was so amazing, that we came back two more times. Everything was great, even if there was a minor inconvenience, Rafa helped us in seconds. So this was obviously our favorite hostel ever. Also the rooms are nice, AC is great, the breakfast is really yummy (nica breakfast), and overall the vibe is very chill and calm. Thank you Rafa!

Located in Popoyo, Mola Mola Surf Popoyo offers beachfront accommodation 70 metres from Popoyo Beach and features various facilities, such as a garden and a bar. We stayed for 10 days. If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet place this is it. Our room was spacious, modern and clean. We also enjoyed a large deck and a shared well equipped kitchen. The 3 cats on the property were a bonus. Very friendly! Rafa is the most positive and helpful host.

It is a special place. Maybe not for everyone, but for us was really good. We staid right on the edge of the lake. We always heard the waves. The cabin is equipped with all you need. The architecture is much nicer than the pictures. Also, Che is a really great person. Thank you!

I found a piece of happiness here..the property and the beach front were perfect, secluded beach all to yourself…and maybe the random horse. Very beautiful and relaxing place to stay… also the room service food was a complete bonus…fresh everything!! Can’t bet fresh coffee being delivered to your room in the morning.

Red Pepper Popoyo Guesthouse is only 50 meters away from the beach, Offering a rooftop terrace and views of the sea, Red Pepper Popoyo is located in Popoyo, 2.8 km from Salinas. Amazing guesthouse moments away from the beach. Each room has its own private terrace with hammocks and seats - the perfect area to relax. The room was lovely and spacious - exactly like the pictures. Marc and Meriken were amazing hosts - make sure you book in for curry night and noodle night! We extended our stay as we loved it so much. Hopefully we will be back in the future!

Finca la Magia is a jungle hostel on a small organic farm located just outside San Ramon, 40 km from Moyogalpa. Food was amazingly made by Delfa, their nica chef. Who made Vegetarian dishes with farms ingredients and using fire in a typical stove. I totally recommend to have all the meals you can, you’ll love it. We enjoyed a volcano Concepcion tour with a young guide named Josias, who showed us that wonderful landscape. Also the reception helped us to get a scooter for 25usd, a nice way to go around the island. The chef daughter made a surprise birthday cake for my girlfriend, which made us a felt like home. Finca La Magia is the perfect spot for privacy and natural surroundings. No internet coverage but a decent wifi at the restaurant.

Located in San Juan del Sur and only 400 metres from San Juan del Sur Beach, 2 bedroom apartment with bay view, deck and roof terrace provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free... We loved staying here. The terrace is amazing. We spent many hours relaxing there. The place is clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location is just far enough out of town to be quiet but not too far. The birds in the early evening in the trees are lovely. The host is very responsive to messages. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
