I was lucky to stay there 4 nights (3 in the studio and 1 in the appartment), it is really a beautifull place! The house is a museum in itself, you can feel that history took place in those rooms, the 'library' is incredible and the kitchen is a dream. Eduarda will give you lots of tips and advice on the island, and if you wish she will tell you the story of the house. You trully feel at home and in a cocoon within the city. The breakfasts are awsome (thank you Maria as well :) I'll be back for sure!!

Offering city views, Casa Rua Velha is an accommodation located in Horta, 300 metres from Praia da Conceição and 2.6 km from Praia do Almoxarife Beach. Place was beautiful, hospitality outstanding, full of little attentions: fresh flowers, fruit basket, bottle of wine etc… it is centrally located, you can go anywhere on foot yet it is away from the crowd and very quiet at night. Host was available for any questions. Would recommend in a heart beat!

We had an exceptional stay at Casa da Galeria. The staff were a real delight and very welcoming, the service of a palace, no less! We read that the breakfast was excellent and had high expectations that were not only met but exceded. Now let's talk about the architecture and the art, everything in every nook and corners were of such good taste, everything was pleasing to look at. If you hesitate, don't! The hotel is really beautiful. We stayed in a spacious apartment that had everything. We didn't miss a single thing. The breakfast was phenomenal. The reception staff were very friendly.
