The entire site is like a true paradise of heaven, so peaceful and calm, run by a very sympathetic lady, Sabine, who really knows 💯 what she’s doing, who really knows 💯 how to run a b&b successfully, being completely zen herself by every act! Controlling everything without showing any stress! Never seen this before in my 16 years of being a prof in tourism and I have visited hundreds of hotels and b&b’s in Europe, during my long career in tour operating! Here, at this place, anyone (🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ friendly) can really meet him self, her self, it self again, even when you’re feeling lost for a while .. Come here and you will leave “releaved” in mind and body! 🧘🏽♂️ And it’s so fine and comfortable, that you can enjoy such a delicious local comfort food in the neighbours brasserie (run by family!) Flemish cuisine; great portions in a very unique presentation! I am an absolute fan! Easy peasy comfort address, where everyone can enjoy a marvellous 🤩 breakfast in the first place, even if you’re not spending the night there. And from here, you walk, you cycle, you’re so near to the heart of adorable Limburg: the capital Hasselt, a must see and enjoy! Use the free parking of “Japanse tuin” and walk to the heart of the city in only 20 minutes and discover a charming and very cosy city, where the locals always serve you with an honest big smile!!! I am flemish, living in Gent since 20 years .. Discovered all this very recently .. I can tell you: I don’t need to go abroad any longer for enjoying some great holidays! ❤️🔥💚💖❤️❣️❣️❣️

Although a few miles from the City Center of Hasselt, this should be a "must stay" destination. The B&B is stunning, elegant and eclectic. A family owns and runs the B&B and they couldn't have been more lovely - Katia (spelling?) is one of the owners and greeted us. It was a couple of flights of stairs to the room, but that is to be expected in an older home/mansion. The room was spectacular - especially the artwork. The wallpaper alone was worth the trip! Beautiful decor in the rooms and the public spaces. Breakfast was excellent - served by one of the daughters. All fresh and home-made. They even had car chargers - which was handy for the plug-in hybrid we rented for our trip. The city of Hasselt was a real surprise. We knew virtually nothing about it - we booked it because it was close to Maastricht. Turns out, we loved the city and had a full evening and the next day to explore. The son in the family that owns the B&B also has a bar in downtown Hasselt where we went for cocktails. We were surprised at how cosmopolitan and upscale Hasselt was. Great dining and shopping and great city to walk around. It's a real gem!
