The owner is so nice, and amazing to have created the place himself and his workers were building a pool which I’m sure will be amazing. I got to try two rooms, both beautiful, really felt very special because it is so much in nature. The first day I saw 2 macaws flying overhead. I loved the balconies and the showers. Karl, the host is exceptional. One can see the genuine pride in his place. The apartments are beautifully laid out, the beds comfortable, and the setting is truly extraordinary. We spent every morning and evening enjoying the wildlife that lived in and visited the trees in front of our huge balcony. Every morning we were visited by scarlet macaws, and today we saw a flock of toucans. Each evening two kinkajou scampered in the trees. Karl provided us with a flashlight, and we loved watching these nimble critters gathering nectar. I can't recommend this place highly enough. It truly was a magical experience.
