Due to the delay of the boat from Boa Vista I arrived really late (2AM), but still the host was waiting at the door so I could check in efficiently and without trouble. Everything was very clean, I can recommend it ! Also the price was very fair compared to other options.

Ideal location for the airport, only 5 minutes in a taxi. Very clean and spacious. Great balcony. Great host, very helpful. Close to cafe and bakery. Location is quiet.

We enjoyed very much our stay at Ellen Apartamentos. Our flight was delayed, we landed at 1:00 am and the host came to the location and gave us the key. The location was offering an extremely good value for money. We could communicate with the host in French and English.

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to get to know the real Sal and its people. The owners went above and beyond to make me feel not only welcome, but truly at home. The room was super comfy, and the food was always delicious (be sure to try one of Candida's secret recipes for dinner, if you get the chance). I was provided with all the help and advice I needed in order to explore the island, and Candida and Martin personally took me to places that only local people know about. If, like me, you prefer a quiet, remote beach over those crowed, touristy ones: there's a small one just a short bicycle ride away – although I usually opted for a walk through to beautiful steppe landscape to get there. If you prefer spending your days with the other tourists down in the south of the island: Santa Maria beach is only 20 minutes by bus – which may sound complicated at first, but is actually super fun and convenient (and it only costs 1 Euro). I could go on praising this place for two weeks (which is actually the amount of time I stayed), but I'll just stop here – not without saying: Thank you, Candida & Martin, for the wonderful time at kleine schweiz! Isabelle is an extraordinary host. She made my stay at Espargos, and helped me a lot in many ways: she called a tour guide and found me a place for the next day, she allowed me to stay one more night when my ferry was delayed without enough time for looking for another place, she gave me directions and even showed me the way to the bank and telecom shop,... What else? She prepared a delicious breakfast and we had nice chats in the mornings. The place is clean, room comfortable and spacious, and the house is just 15 minutes walking to city center, 2 minutes walking to a nice mexican restaurant that you must try! I highly recommend Isabelle's place. Thanks for your hospitality!

Very clean and big apartment. It is full furnished and the owner is very friendly and helpful. It’s not far from the airport. The location is very good supermarket and restaurant are near the apartment. Highly recommended.

This was a late night, unexpected booking due to a delayed ferry. We were met by both the owner and the manager. The apartment is spacious, airy, very nicely decorated and super comfortable with great beds, and air con. Fully equipped kitchen and some very useful outside space. The owner, was super helpful, although I don't think he's there full time as he lives elsewhere. He was so very very kind by giving my husband some food. We'd asked if the apartment was free on the night of the day we were leaving just in case we were stuck with the unreliable ferries, unfortunately it wasn't, but he offered us a bed in his own apartment if we were stuck. Now this is kindness personified, however on Xmas Eve it took kindness to another level. It's what Christmas is really about, isn't it?

Nice clean apartment, in safe area. Internet connection worked perfectly throughout the apartment.. close to airport.. 10-15 min walk to centre.. host was lovely, made me feel welcomed. Offered to keep my baggage at the apartment after check out and dropped me off to the airport. Very much appreciated.. Would definately recommend :)
