Situated next to the Kuusankoski Canal, Varjola Holiday Center is 7 km north of Laukaa. It provides rooms, suites and villas, a restaurant and a garden. WiFi and parking are free.

The design of the cottage is exceptional and the surrounding environment is kept as natural as possible. The cottage is shaded by trees, which did not bother us, instead it helped to keep the cottage cool in the very hot weather. The surrounding area of the cottage is very peaceful, and the cottage is very clean and well maintained. The lake beside the cottage was very calm and we enjoyed rowing the boat in the lake. We also enjoyed the outdoor sitting space and the bonfire area. We had a very pleasant stay and we would like to come back again.

Very kind and helpful owner, smooth communication, absolutely lovely house just a few steps from the lake in the middle of beautiful nature. Great facilities (wooden sauna, outside grill and inside grill, big terrace etc.). We consider spending time here again in the future.

Really nice stay due to the property and location. all we needed for a nice stay in with a family was available at the property. Also oven which was not even mentioned in the add. Owner was really nice and we got quick answers to all of our questions. Everything went smooth. Road was taken care of before our arrival and despite the snowstorm on the evening we arrived, it was also cleared by the next morning. For sure we will visit the property again.
