Chechi is so warm and welcoming. Her food is the best we had, she helped with transport to her homestay, for a tuk tuk to take us sight seeing one day and was very quick to respond to any questions. Biju, a very lovely host at the property was super friendly and got us sorted for the jeep safari through his contacts. He was very helpful and easily available when needed. Also they served us egg roast and appam for breakfast which was very tasty and made with love. The property was very clean and the balcony had a beautiful view. There is a market about 1km away roughy about 12-15 mins walk which has many restaurants. However the road towards the market has up and downhill route, which can get a bit tiring to walk and because there aren’t many street lights and it’s not a proper road in some patches, it can get a bit dark and dusty. We took a tuktuk on our way back from the market as they are readily available for INR 40. But the walk was a small adventure we had, so we made it fun.

He will give you suggestions of tours to do and will help you arrange taxi and all. Him and his family is so warm and welcoming. Breakfast is delicious . The rooms are spotless and the view from balcony is breathtaking. Such a peaceful environnement outside the city.

We had a wonderful time staying at Sceva's! The view is breathtaking, up the hill, facing the valley and the mountains. The swimming pool is very pleasant to swim, and is big enough to swim and have fun. The facilities and equipment is in perfect condition. Everything was extremely clean and nicely organized. You are staying in a family house, so some principles has to be observed to respect the home and family. Benny was super helpful and has great advice about the touristic spots. We had the chance to observe wild elephants during our stay and to see stunning landscape of plantations in a quiet area driving a heavenly road. We loved to walk around in Adimaly which is a small and authentic city, where you can really feel the atmosphere of a non touristic place which was very nice to discover. 1h to 40min drive from Munnar town, but we really didn't regret it. The road to go there is marvellous and is a part of the experience. Munnar center is very busy and chaotic. Be aware that the homestay is remote from the city, you can't walk to go there. We had our car rental so it was really perfect. Otherwise you need a driver or a tuktuk to go around. The advantage is the pure air, the quietness and the sound of birds and nature around which was our best choice! We stayed in both wooden room and other room and both had a wonderful view and great atmosphere. The more non-wooden room we had was really European of a luxury homestay standard 🙏 The wooden room was a wonderful, exotic and relaxing ambiance 🙏

Ashik is the perfect host taking care of all your wishes - starting with some black tea in the morning up to organizing lunch or dinner. We took the table from the room onto the terrace and enjoyed sitting outside in the morning and evening. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped for the price. If you want to see some elephants go for the Anakulam Elephant Village! It was an amazing experience.
