Our stay at Prime Querce was exceptional! Like visiting with a friend. The rooms are immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, the views down the valley to the sea at sunset are amazing as well. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast provided is the best we had in our whole trip to Italy! The products they provide from their buffalo cow dairy are best. It’s the extra thought and care that shows their level of professionalism. Upon checkout we were given a gift of some buffalo mozzarella in a pint container as a thank you. And the girl who was cleaning up the breakfast station sent my wife home with a fresh croissant since my wife had expressed her appreciation for the one she enjoyed with her breakfast.

The property is secluded and serene and yet is still very close to Paestum’s UNESCO site and restaurants. The buildings are new, in mint condition, and also create a feeling of serenity. The host, David, was on the property and able to answer all of our questions. He made us a dinner reservation and even drove us to the restaurant area and picked us up when we called that we were ready to return. His genuine hospitality greatly added to our visit. The next morning his mother, “the queen”, greeted us with fresh orange juice, espresso coffee, and hot milk so we could make lattes as we preferred. The breakfast table was truly amazing with an array of savory and sweet choices, most of them homemade with local ingredients such as fresh ricotto, eggs, arugula, and strawberries.

The room also had a refrigerator in which the host had provided two pots of yogurt, water and a bottle of milk! Very friendly host, who made us feel very welcome. Very quiet location, yet just five minute drive to Paestum Archeological Site. Excellent Italian breakfast! There was a huge choice of cakes, biscuits, pastries etc. Thank you Gaetano!
