Highly recommend this beautiful hotel. The location is comfortable near Beppu Station and directly near a local bus station. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The shared living room is nice, great atmosphere, well equipped kitchen, free drinks all day. The owners are heartwarming, friendly people and you feel very welcomed.

Self check-in with clear instructions online. This is the best accommodation we've stayed at so far in Japan! It's very well equipped like it would be at home! The house is very spacious and has the most comfortable beds & blankets. I couldn't sleep on my back side since I had slipped & injured my tailbone a week before. But I could on this bed! The washing machine is also an actual dryer in one!

Incredible! Wish I could’ve stayed more than 1 night. The public bath with the view of the ocean was breathtaking. The gardens and public areas around the resort are absolutely stunning, so many great little nooks. The staff is extremely attentive (one member was waiting for us with an umbrella as we were crossing the street, still a few minutes away from the resort!) and spoke English very well. We had the seaside villa and it was bigger than we thought - actually for 2 people it’s too big. The view from the second floor to the ocean is amazing as well. There are two private baths, a really spacious indoor bath and a semi open air outdoor bath. While the outdoor one was more picturesque, the indoor one was more comfortable for me. I liked the breakfast as well, both western and Japanese options.

The most amazing stay! It was pouring down when we arrived, we didn't want to out again for food.. the staff called around for takeout places that will do vegeterian ,after a good half hour of searching they asked if we woukd be happy for then to prepare us a meal. It was easily one of the top 3 meals we've had in Japan. Thr lady cooked us a 4 course meals... beyond beyond expectations. Kenjo ( not sure if I got the name right) was also lovely. The onsen was amazing we booked ind advance for the pm and then for 7am . Had the best nights sleep. If you are in Beppu this place is a must.
