Wolyoungchae is a beautiful place - so very well run by the hospitable Sugi! Loved the traditional architecture and furnishings. It is also well located with easy transport to Andong Old market and Andong train/bus terminals.

It was our privilege to be able to stay in this amazing, historical accommodation. It was very quiet and relaxing, and we slept great. Breakfast was delicious. Seunghwan, the owner, and his family went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and they even gave us a few rides around the area, for what we are really grateful. The house is located in the historical Hahoe village and is also a private museum.The rooms are traditional, we were served traditional dinner and in the morning guided through the house. The owner was very nice and helpful.

The host of the guesthouse was super friendly. He gave me good restaurant recommendations and answered all of my questions. It was my first solo trip but I felt really comfortable there!

Location is very good. It has the view of the scenic mountain. The back drop trees are dramatic. There’s an area where we played. It’s so pristine. I like the traditional house experience. But it’s not suited for elderlies because of has only one bathroom and the path is cobble stone. The owner is very accommodating. He is helpful. He served good breakfast with toast and fruits.

The house was beautiful and well maintained. It felt like stepping back in time. The house overlooks a beautiful valley and village. The floor mats were comfortable to sleep on, and the room was warm. The host is welcoming, friendly, and informative about the history and general information about the house and the surrounding areas.
