Suneth is so knowledgeable about all of the best things to do in Kandy and the surrounding areas. The breakfast is exceptional and Suneth even specially prepared us a breakfast that was gluten free. He genuinely cares about his guests as if they were one of his family. The location is an easy 15-20 mins walk to the lake edge and is in an area of the city where people want to talk to you because they're interested and friendly. Not just with motives to sell tours etc. like in the centre of Kandy. Would not hesitate to stay here again

Jaga and his lovely family are great hosts and very welcoming. You will feel right at home! The house is a bit of a climb from the town, but you get rewarded with a great view and you can even see the Buddha statue from the terrace. They serve great breakfast and dinner in case you are to lazy to go into town, and are ready for recommendations of what to do in the area. I would definitely stay here again!! Big thanks to the family for making my stay in Kandy so pleasant :)

Not many hotels where you are encouraged to wander in the kitchen to watch dinner being prepared. And yes, the food is excellent. So was the room, and the view of the Kandy valley from the infinity pool is not to be missed.
