It was a very pleasant staying in Taiparoro House in Tauranga. You cannot imagine a better place to stay there! The room was very nice and cozy, The house itself is a living history - it was built in 19th century and you can still feel that it's old and unique. The hosts - Penny and Ian are very nice and helpful people. They serve continental breakfast and it's most delicious breakfast I had - including croissants, vegetables, fruits, toasts, good quality muesli and many more! I strongly recommend you to stay in this place!

Very homely feel to the accom - the little touches were very much appreciated ie nice shampoo and conditioner in the shower, food/water was replenished and dirty dishes taken away while I was out, bed was super comfy, TV was easy to navigate because the host had made a guide for guests. We felt really welcomed from the beginning. Nice self-service breakfast. Our host was responsive and friendly, providing excellent tips and ideas for our trip. Considerate, by his own initiative making the room ready earlier because it was raining cats and dogs outside. Good location and private car parking. Good and clear instructions for self-check in.
