Location and view of Akasha retreat are absolutely amazing. Staff was extremely nice and helpful and made us feel like at home. Place is even nicer than in the photos. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, made from organic local products. Sauna is most probably the nicest we have ever been with an excellent view. Yoga instructor was very professional and sweet.

The location is fantastic.. you have great views over the mountains on all sides. Pestera village is out of this world, and the cabin holds one of the best locations within the village. The cabin itself has great comfort, with spacious and clean rooms and two bathrooms. For me, the highlights were the porch and the large garden overlooking the mountains. We had our campfire in the garden as soon as the sun went down. During the day, the sheep would cross while nibbling on their grass. You're basically in the heart of this beautiful, unique place and within the comfort of a home. A unique experience, highly recommended. Also worth mentioning is that some of the trails up the mountain start from nearby the cabin.

We liked everything! The hosts were gratious, very friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay wortwhile. They helped with our transportation also! The rooms are very comfortable, with traditional furniture and a view to die for. The restaurant serves traditional food and more and the waiter, Horia, is fast and very effective, also fun and handsome. The inn offers a variety of leisure activities, our favorite was spending time on the large terase facing the Bucegi Mtns. We walked every day 2 km up and down for additonal vistas of the Piatra Craiului Mtns. We loved it all, we plan to come back.
