Our stay at Chalets des Vacances was amazing. The crew was very nice and helpful. The room was big, clean, had a full kitchen and everything 2 adults and a 4 yo child might need. We stayed there for 2 weeks and felt at home. You must have a car, we drove around the island and saw all the beaches. We has dinner there twice and the food was delicious. It's a bit hard to find on Google maps, look for le reduit restaurant, it's right next to it. Threre is a nice 15 min hike down the hill through the forest and some local houses, to get to Takamaka Beach. A local named Dariel that lives close and is the son a lady that works there, took us on a 45 min hike to the Rock pool, which was amazing. It was free of charge even though I offered to pay for him guiding us. I tried to find the was by myself but couldn't find it. Even though the rock pool looks beautiful, I don't recommend swimming there since once in a while, even during low tide, I big wave can get in and pull you out. We had a great time and I highly recommend the place.

This place is really exceptional! It was our honeymoon. They had prepared our room beforehand for that. It was a very nice gesture. Thank you so much :) The property is located in a very quiet area. It has a beautiful garden with turtles, peacocks and other animals. It has a small beach which hosted the most amazing sunset I have ever seen in my entire life. Unfortunately, because the season we visited, the sea was wavy, so we couldn't swim there. Still, there are nice beaches nearby like Anse Intendance and Takamaka Beach. You might need to consider that the property is bit far from the city center (~45 mins by car). It's the best choice to be alone with nature. Still, to go other places/beaches, I strongly recommend to rent a car beforehand. We failed to do so, but the property owner was so kind that she dropped us to Anse Forbans one day and to the city center the other day. The rooms are very spacious and incredibly clean. The rooms are cleaned daily. They are also fully equipped to cook. You can have breakfast and dinner for additional cost. We had breakfast with eggs, bacon/fish, lots of fruits, fresh squeezed fruit juice, bread/croissants; and dinner with smoked fish salad, rice, fish with Seychellois sauce, coconut pie. They were very delicious and the portions are very satisfying. Strongly recommended. Meals are served at your room because of Covid. So you can have your meal while enjoying the nice view from your balcony.

Our stay there exceeded our expectations. It is one of those places you promise yourself to return again. The view from the Chalets was breathtaking. You have the ocean at your feet. The infinity pool is very smartly located in the garden with ocean view as well. Everything was extremely clean with attention to detail, you could say from the first moment that the amenities and the chalets are 5-stars level. The kitchen was fully organised, you could cook almost everything. The chalet we stayed (lemon) was recently renovated, with beautiful decoration. The bed had one of the best matresses ever tried on a hotel. Cleaning (& fresh flowers!) was daily which leads me to the best part of our stay which is the owners of the property. Maeggi & Joe were excellent hosts from the first moment. Always available with the best tips to get the most out of your vacation, very explanatory & clear about the policies but most of all they made you feel like you were a host at their house. Highly recommended.

I'd like to start this review by saying thank you Brigitte, thanks to you We left the Chalets d'Anse Forbans with the feeling that it was MY SECOND HOME. This place is just awesome for a person who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The territory is absolutely beautiful, trees, palms, white sand beach and absolute peace and QUIET. The Chalet has an amazing terrace when you can have breakfast every morning in front of the ocean. There is everything you need inside it, especially I liked the kitchen, because we had almost everything. We really liked the district where the Chalet is located, because it'a also peace and quiet. you can walk around 500 meters and buy some food in "Walter Desaubin Foods", but if you want to get other places it's more convenient to rent a car (we paid 45 euro a day for the car), Brigitte also can help with that. I end this review with a feeling of sadness, but only because I miss the Chalet so much. Thank you for the opportunity to spend our holidays in such an amazing place

Absolutely wonderful place, I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a peaceful and pleasant holiday. We had a room with terrace, very cozy, clean and comfortable, spacious bathroom. Great breakfast, local fruits are fantastic! Wonderful beach across the street, very nice local restaurant with delicious pan fried fish and coconut ice-cream, just a few steps from the Villa. There is also a small store with drinks nearby. At the Villa no mosquitos, but you can encounter them at the beach, so be prepared. We have seen a giant turtle in the neighbourhood! Cristine and Flo are extremely friendly and helpful, thank you so much for making our stay unforgettable!

The accommodation is very clean, believe me, super clean to compare with other apartments I stayed, the owners Valina and her husband Donald are super friendly and helping with everything u need, we felt like we are not guests, we felt like we are family. Valina made us very tasty curry and was bringing my daughter always bananas which she loves a lot. Donald showed us around, dropped us to the shop to buy the groceries and a lot more, believe me, anything you need. There is kitchen with all utilities, AC, TV, fridge and very beautiful balcony where u can make BBQ. The beach is just 3 min walk( nice one, not crowded at all, u feel it private))Hilton Double tree and small shop around 3 min walk also. We had a very nice stay and a nice short vacation just because of the hosts. Wanna say big thanks and recommend to everyone if u wanna clean quiet place to relax and enjoy the nature. Very peaceful place to relax. We will come back for sure and recommend to all our friends

The location of the villa is amazing, right on the beach. Quite on the beach. The hostess is great. Helped with car rental, organized fishing trips. Constantly in touch and helped a lot in organizing the rest and resolving any issues. Huge thanks to her!

The place has a beautiful garden, relaxing views across the see, many birds singing and chirping , amazing views of the sky full of stars from the terrace. The chalets are very spacious for a family of 4 and very comfortable. Richard, the owner is great, friendly and helpful while being extremely discreet. They have an amazing restaurant on the beach, but I will review it separately. Having our breakfast and dinners there was a blessing. The beach is perfect, our entire family had a wonderful time there. Such an amazing time we had there! Definitely one of the best places in Mahe, highly recommended!

We have been stayed in this place with my family for two weeks and we loved it. John the host is a very nice person makes you feel at home, very helpful with quick response to anything you need and available all the time.He organized car rental service and gave us a lot of information about the city. He is super friendly my son got attached with him and to the place after the stay. He has also wonderful life time experiences and stories. The place has beautiful views to the ocean and surrounded with green trees and very close to Surfers beach. I would suggest anyone to stay at this house.
